nearbeer (1833), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Apr 22, 2008 750 ml. Amber-orange with a few floaties and a two-finger, lasting head. Spicy apples and earthy brown sugar aroma. Bubblegum, cinnamon, alcohol, and slightly bitter earth-spiced caramel apple flavors. Maybe some slight sour leather and figs as well. Creamy-smooth, medium body is slightly dry and tingly. SQNfan (591), Wheaton, Illinois, USA Mar 22, 2008 On tap: Cloudy yellow in color with aromas of baking yeast, honey, ripe citrus fruits and spice. The palate was soft and not very powerful but smooth. While nothing stood out for me it was definitely enjoyable. Plimmer (251), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 21, 2008 Bottle (75cl). Amber colored hazy body with medium size dense off-white head. Malt and fruit in the nose. Flavour dominated by a nice sweet feeling with malt alt hops. nkwarrior (9), knoxville, Tennessee, USA does not count Mar 16, 2008 750ml bottle. Intially served too cold... had a metallic taste. As warmed up, fruityness disappeared, became hoppy with a slight bitterness. nhorween (639), Chicago, Illinois, USA Mar 14, 2008 750ml. Clear straw colored pour with a lot of visible bubbles and a white head. Pretty classic triple aroma - spices (coriander), orange zest, candi sugar, with alcohol and some funk in the background. Flavor is similar with lots of the malt showing the back half. Slightly metallic, but it doesn’t detract except in the finish. Highly carbonated with lots of small bubbles. Above average. Dorqui (1353), Brescia, Italy Mar 9, 2008 Bottled 0,75L.

Relatively sweet and unagressive for a tripel, medium hopped. Low carbonation. Long aftertaste.
