Really disappointing Tripel--one of the least satisfying Belgian beers I’ve ever had. EXTREME hop character overwhelms other elements of Tripelness, if they’re even there. Funky, chalky aftertaste rounds out a sad "outing"

Bottle at Dempsey’s. Pours a hazy orange with a medium, white head. Nose of light Belgian character, fruits, some sugar. Flavor is fairly sweet with more fruit notes, slight funkiness, and some spices. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Not bad, but I’ve had better Tripels.

Birra fantastica !! colore giallo intenso schiuma persistente ..sentori di miele mentre al palato sprigiona la sua robustezza.nonostante l’importante gradazione alcolica rimane molto "leggera".

Draft. Pours golden with a fizzy white head. Flavor is sugar, apples, and lots of dryness. This is the most dry tripel I’ve ever tried.

05 Bottle at Spinnerstown. Aroma of cherry and raisin. Dark golden body with medium head. Nice carbonation still. Flavor is very sweet and fruity, less citrus and spice then expected, probably due to the age. Hints of raisin, cherry, malts and maybe a little vanilla. Cherry finish with a little sour.

This beer tastes like a typical Triple, but with a slightly bitter taste towards the end. However, it is a harsher going down than the "average" Triple. I wouldn’t say there is anything special about it, but since Triples are my favorte type of beer, I like it just fine!

UPDATED: MAY 12, 2010 Great fuity american hop nose. Golden with a soapy white head. Refreshingly light but nice hop notes, like a pale ale with a touch of belgian yeast. A great summer beer.
