Bomber on sale at Consumers. Gotta love getting a closeout price on a 90+ brew. Pours a cloudy amber like most Belgians, white head, citrusy aroma. Not overly sweet, but very smooth. Boy am I glad I got 2 bombers on sale.

Draft at Zeno’s. Cloudy orange and pink colored body with a white filmy head. Perfumy, soapy floral nose, heavy on the soapy, floral spices and yeasty esters. Crisp palate up front, with more of a wet paper character over the middle, with near-sour grain flavors and some floral, yeast, spicy notes in the finish.

On draft at Zeno’s. Pours a hazy orange caramel with a medium white head. Aroma of apricot, orange peel and tangerine with a hint of lemon. Taste is pleasantly sweet and sour with hints of apricot, papaya, orange peel, lemon with a spicy all around feel. Very nice.

Aroma is spicy, full of complex grains and some bubblegum. This amber pour has light lacing and tastes like your standard full bodied triple with notes of spice. It was smooth and very drinkable. It slightly warmed as it went down.

Cask @ Delirium Cafe. Pale gold with a foamy white head. Standard Belgian tripel, yeasty hops, spice and citrus in the nose with a taste to match. Salty finish. Not as good as expected.

Flaske. SUperlækker trippel, med lidt mere bid end normalt. God humle der giver biddet men stadig lækkert afbalanceret. Bare lækker til endnu en ydmygelse af Bif :)

750 ml. Cloudy orange/amber with a thin off-white head. Some yeast floaties and spotty lacing. Floral, honey and mild citrusy aromas over cookie/caramel malts. A bit of pepper/spice as well. Smooth light caramel malt and citrus flavors with a restrained tinge of hop and spice. A bit on the light side palatewise I thought, with little carbonation and a slightly watery finish. Overall though, a fairly decent tripel.
