Pours a cloudy amber like most Belgians, white head, citrusy aroma. Not overly sweet, but very smooth. Boy am I glad I got 2 bombers on sale. BelgiskOlklub (403), Viby J, Denmark

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 16, 2007 Aroma is spicy, full of complex grains and some bubblegum. This amber pour has light lacing and tastes like your standard full bodied triple with notes of spice. It was smooth and very drinkable. It slightly warmed as it went down. reakt (937), Greater London, England

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 11, 2007 750 ml. Cloudy orange/amber with a thin off-white head. Some yeast floaties and spotty lacing. Floral, honey and mild citrusy aromas over cookie/caramel malts. A bit of pepper/spice as well. Smooth light caramel malt and citrus flavors with a restrained tinge of hop and spice. A bit on the light side palatewise I thought, with little carbonation and a slightly watery finish. Overall though, a fairly decent tripel.
