Lubiere (4463), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Aug 26, 2007 A hazy amber ale with a thick off white head. Aroma of fruity esters, sweet bananas, yeast and herbs. In mouth, a nice sweet candy sugar with light herbal hops, very present, coriander, oranges, and nice alcohol in final. Palidor19 (1750), Brandon, Florida, USA Aug 21, 2007 Its got a sharp taste of frutis and the malts are very robust. I find that one very good for the style and flavors of a Belgium beer. nick76 (2634), Tampa, Florida, USA Aug 21, 2007 The aroma is yeasty, with corn malt, and some light fruitiness. The appearance is cloudy amber with a typical head for the style. The flavor is bitter and like the aroma. The palate is average for the style. Overall a decent beer but nothing special. DruncanVeasey (2690), The Penguin’s Arms, Europe, Warwickshire, England Aug 18, 2007 Van t’vat in the Delirium Cafe. As the Estivale, but more so. Bittersweet, fruitily hopped Tripel with a pithy blast of grapefruit. Estery Jelly Tot citrus and mellow spice. Witbier hazy with creamy suds and lace. Ridiculously quenching for the strength. Well-rounded and hoppy. Approaching greatness. One to resample bottled. gottalottaibu (242), charlotte, North Carolina, USA Aug 4, 2007 golden amber with a nice frothy head leaving some sticky lacing. nice aromas of spices and yeast with a light sweetness. taste is well balanced with nice maltyness and caramel notes that balance out the minor hop bitterness. Grovlam (3790), Copenhagen, Denmark Jul 25, 2007 Bottle 75 cl. Large and light creamy like head that mostly diminished. Good display of lacework. Hazy amber color. Aroma of yeast, spice, fruit, caramel, citrus and light hoppy notes as well. Quit full bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Maybe a hint of alcohol. Well balanced sweet and bitter flavor. Light spicy and sweet finish. Quit nice Triple. daniele (1641), Italy Jul 18, 2007 ottima intensità olfattiva media frizzanterzza corpo strutturato buon equilibrio gustativo persistenza lunga
