The 25.4 ounce bottle poured a slightly hazy amber-orange colored beverage with an average sized white creamy head that was mostly diminishing but left good lacing on the glass. Because it is bottle conditioned, there were also some small particles floating about. The aroma was sweet, fruity and spicy with notes of grape, pear, coriander and pepper. The body was medium with lively but soft carbonation and a smooth creamy texture. The flavors start off lightly sweet with the sweetness gradually replaced with a light acidic tartness through the long finish. There is also a nice alcohol warmth at the end.

Pours a three-finger smooth cream head that fades slowly to a thin layer leaving some lace. Almost cloudy amber color. Malty, alcohol nose. Strong carbonation and medium bodied. Starts semi-sweet, high ABV is here, dry finish $8.99 for a 750ml bottle from Tully’s Beer & Wine Wells, Me.

Bottle, August 2005. Hazy gold, good white head and moderate condition. Muted but insistent fruity maltiness in the nose, quite hoppy at first in the mouth with a building sweet spicy maltiness and alcohol developing before dominating in the finish.

Sweet, yeasty, substantial mouthfeel. A bit of spice, with a nice amount of hops as well. Very good standard Belgian Triple.
