| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 28, 2005 (draft) A fairly standard tasting tripel. Perhaps a little more citrus than I’d prefer, but very drinkable. Jokes (1453), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 24, 2005 Hazy golden body with a fluffy, white head that leaves thick sheets of heavy lace. A nice, subtle aroma of clove, honey, orange peel, wheat bread, earthy hops, a little coriander, bananas and some lemon grass. The body is crisp and effervescent with excellent carbonation. The flavor is well crafted and fairly balanced. The fruity esters and spices are the definite draw to the beer with the mild, slightly tart wheat bread and yeasty character lightly in the background. The alcohol is well hidden, giving the slightest hint of warmth at the very end. The warmth combines with dry, hoppy bitterness for an elegant finish. One of the triples I’ve enjoyed most of late--a tasty beer. ThomasE (5178), Copenhagen, Denmark

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | May 20, 2005 Bright gold with a hazy orange core. Nose fruity, bit spicy, but incredibly perfumey, very redolent. Significantly less spicy than I expected, some yeastiness there, bit bready. Some hops at the end, loads of perfume again, vaguely burns the inside of the mouth. Quite fruity. Best part of the drinking experience is the mouthfeel, simply an amazing palate. Very creamy and rich, stunningly velvety. Palate-wise, reminds me of the Fantome Ete I recently had, lovely, sticky fullness to it. jaymobrown (1354), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 19, 2005 Light, lemon appearance. Sugary, pear nose. Yeast, alcohol, some cooke, and dough flavors. Balanced with a citrus, orange peel flavor. Some white pepper. Active on the tongue. This is solid, but the flavors could stand out more. Tends to lose its dimensions after some time.
