Bottle. Nose is grain, straw, belgian yeast, suprisingly light on the esters (for the style - still present) some saison like funk, more straw. Taste is grain, straw, funk, herbal and floral hop notes, pepper and corriander, spice, biscuit, a sweet honey note and a funky finish with emergin fruits as it warms. An emerging mandarin citrus note lifts the be. It tastes like a triple mixed with a Saision, which fits perfectly with the Rulles range with a rustic style. I love brewers which have the ability to shape styles to their templates.

Colore dorato, bella schiuma. Odore molto fruttato, zucchero caramellato, molto leggero erbaceo. Sapore dolce, malto e caramello, alcool ben nascosto, finale amaro. Ottimo bilanciamento di sapori dolce/amaro, ottima birra.

Ambrée trouble, effervescence moyenne, col blanc moyen crémeux, nuageux et de bonne tenue. Principalement maltée, caramel, légèrement fruitée, bonne petite amertume houblonnée par la suite.

30/I/15 - 75cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: IV/2016 (2015-121)

Clear dark blond beer, huge fluffy to creamy white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: spicy, pretty fruity, floral, peaches, yeasty touch, cloves. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: pretty spicy, quite some cloves, some overripe fruits, bit sweet, little bitter. Aftertaste: spicy, cloves, little sweet, some banana. Decent, but not their best.

Taste is very sweet malt, honey, caramelized orange, candy sugar, light fruits. Very faint herbs in the back. Super grainy body. Very solid describes this beer well. Very straightforward & satisfactory.

Bottle. Pale orange, hazy with white 2/3 finger head. Slowly reducing. Good lacing. Very malty - aromas of mature fruits, candy sugar, bread, yeast. Taste is very malty (mature fruits - bananas, melon, apricot) and sugary (candy, toffe), some spices (coriander) and belgian yeast (phenols, clove) in the background. Low bitterness, noticable from the middle of degustation. You can alos taste some citrus funky belgian notes through all the time. Medium to full body, creamy texture, medium carbonation. Finish is slightly bitter, dry with rotten fruits notes. Slightly alcohol warming. In overall great triple, with almost perfect texture. Great drinkabliity.

750 ml bottle - big gusher! Pours a very sediment-filled golden with a thick, resilient white head. Aroma is old malt, bubble gum. Flavor is sweet, gumball, a metallic touch. Finish is herbal, very spicy, coriander, mint, pepper, pear and peach. Medium to full body, weak to average carbonation. Probably had a big time bottling flaw?
