For me this is a good brew but nothing to crazy. The pour is a bright hazy gold with a frosty, bubbly white head that dies instantly. The nose is floral and slightly fruity. Quite sweet at first with grainy malts, light citrus fruits and floral, perfumy esters. A touch of bitterness with a slightly offputting flavour. Overall, an above average brew but a bit boring.

Bottle, shared with Ian and others. Hazy medium gold, lively white head that is quick to settle. Very floral nose and flavour profile. Sweet candy malt supports elegant florals. No bitterness really at all. Mildplastic phenols the deeper I go. Not as awesome as the score suggests.

This beer is best served at 50-55F. Poured in a Orval Trappist glass. Light apricot color with a 1/2 finger head. The aroma was a light apricot/clove- not as strong as other tripels. The mouth feel is very carbonated- more than other tripels I have tasted. I would have preferred a less carbonated mouth feel. The taste is light apricot/clove. Not as pronounced as other tripels. The finish is bitter at lower serving temps and mellows at higher temps, where the bitterness is clearly the alcohol in the finish. The taste also mellows at higher temps. A very good tripel. However, I like a smoother tripel, such as St. Bernardus.

Dark fruit, citrus, and some caramel in the aroma. Flavor is sweet and spicy, with some clove and cinnamon. Citrus and hop bitterness and some alcohol in the finish. Lots of flavors, and they all work really well together, with none overpowering the rest. One of the better tripels I’ve tried.

Bottled. Pourshazy golden with a medium sized, lacing off-white head. Aroma of yeast, orange and some spice. Sweet flavor that ends up with some bitterness. Medium bodied, oily text. and soft carb. An excellent hoppy, triple.

Aroma of red grape jelly. Tastes almost exactly like cranberry juice bitter and all. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head.

Bottle at b-laws. Golden color. Fuller head. Aroma of Belgium candy. Slight basement aroma. Spice yeast. Alcohol was somewhat hidden. Some kind of fruit like grapes or cherry and candy sugar. Pretty good.

Hazy golden amber with 1/2" white head, thin swirls of lace. Aroma of bitter dark berries, is reflected in the drink itself. Malt is present at the outset, but the sweet/bitter becomes more noticeable, particularly because it is so palate cleansing. All grows through a smooth palate, letting in a push from the sweet, only to give it up in favor of a long, dry finish. Excellent with food, and deceptive in the abv (no kick or warmth in the drink). Recommended.
