Pours a lightly hazy deep gold color with a frothy white head, lots of lace and effervescent. Aroma of spicy, peppery Belgian yeast phenols, fruity orange citrus esthers with some light banana notes. Taste is a nice blend of spicy phenols, fruity citrus esthers, sweet bready malts and some alcohol warming on the finish. Medium body with, warm alcohol creates a nice creamy mouthfeel. Overall a great triple.

Pours a cloudy orangey golden colour, good amounts of sediment, large white head that shrinks and leaves a lot of lace on the glass. Aroma is fruity, oranges, complex spicy Belgian phenols, clove, peppery, and perfumy. Flavour is spicy Belgian phenols, peppery, cloves, fruity, orange, mild bitterness, overall complex alcohol/spicy/fruity mixture that works pretty decently.

On tap @ a local bar. Hazy yellow body with a white head that leaves loads of lacing. Nice light and fruity flavor with a clear yeast presence. Well carbonated with soft bubbles.

Brought over from my next door Brit neighbor claiming this brew is fantastic. As the always skeptic I proceeded to consume with concern. Poured from a bomber into a snifter glass a light orange lemon color with a white head that is impressive then quickly laces down the glass as the temperature of the brew rises. Aroma is sweet Belgium funk. Grabbing some citrus here. Flavor is surprising light for a triple. DId I mention citrus earlier? Less funk and dark fruit which I expected and not disappointed. This beverage is excellent with ever so slight banana. LIKE! Carbonation is appropriate and quite the brew I would like to drink after a long day in the heat. Definitely a unique distinctive triple. So delicious!

For me this is a good brew but nothing to crazy. The pour is a bright hazy gold with a frosty, bubbly white head that dies instantly. The nose is floral and slightly fruity. Quite sweet at first with grainy malts, light citrus fruits and floral, perfumy esters. A touch of bitterness with a slightly offputting flavour. Overall, an above average brew but a bit boring.

Bottle, shared with Ian and others. Hazy medium gold, lively white head that is quick to settle. Very floral nose and flavour profile. Sweet candy malt supports elegant florals. No bitterness really at all. Mildplastic phenols the deeper I go. Not as awesome as the score suggests.

This beer is best served at 50-55F. Poured in a Orval Trappist glass. Light apricot color with a 1/2 finger head. The aroma was a light apricot/clove- not as strong as other tripels. The mouth feel is very carbonated- more than other tripels I have tasted. I would have preferred a less carbonated mouth feel. The taste is light apricot/clove. Not as pronounced as other tripels. The finish is bitter at lower serving temps and mellows at higher temps, where the bitterness is clearly the alcohol in the finish. The taste also mellows at higher temps. A very good tripel. However, I like a smoother tripel, such as St. Bernardus.

Dark fruit, citrus, and some caramel in the aroma. Flavor is sweet and spicy, with some clove and cinnamon. Citrus and hop bitterness and some alcohol in the finish. Lots of flavors, and they all work really well together, with none overpowering the rest. One of the better tripels I’ve tried.
