On tap at the Delirium Cafe, Brussels.: Poured couldy yellow with a medium white head. Slight bubblegum in the nose and what seems to me to be spearmint. Mild mint in the flavor also. Mild sweetness up front and a pretty bitter finish. Decent.

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2010 (Draught at Delirium Cafe, Brussels) Pours golden/yellow. slightly hazy with a white head. Smells yeast, pine, kiwi, honey, and marzipan. Some spices. Nutmeg. Liquorice and salt. The taste is salty with honey, and a peppery feeling. Bitter and a bit sour finish. Earthy. Medium body. A really nice trippel. 7/3/7/3/14. Rerate: (Bottle) Pours hazy yellow golden with a medium head. The aroma is of bready and cracker-like malt with band aid/clove-like phenols. Esters bring notes of banana, watermelon and tropical, yellow fruits. Undertones of citrus, perfume and coriander. The flavour is light sweet and light to medium bitter. Spicy, floral and fruity. The mouthfeel is juicy, yet slim with perfect carbonation. Spicy and light fruity finish. Medium bodied. Love!

Bottle at the Brickskeller. I really liked this beer. I am begining to think abbey tripels might be my favorite flavor. Nothing to wierd and spicey about them like some of the trappist stuff, but light and wonderful. This beer in particular was a nice loking beer with a big fluffy head. A very nice floral, citrusy aroma. And a wonderful floral, citrus, hoppy, grassy, sweet spiced flavor.

Bottle sampled with Stegosaurus. Pours cloudy golden with a white head. Aroma of citrus, spices, and alcohol. The flavor is spices, citrus, and hoppy bitter (but well balanced).

nothing spectacular. not a lot of flavor. some fruit in aroma, a little hops. no alcohol flavor, but not much candy sugar at all (super not american tripel).

Hazy, dull orange-straw body with a soft, downy white head and sagging lace. Nicely fragrant aroma of orange and rose petal esters, light spice, and sweet bread. Rich and floral, full flavor of chamomile and coriander with some warming menthol and clove phenols plus alcohol in the finish. Moderately bitter and slightly numbing with a semi-dry mouthfeel. A nice, distinct tripel overall.

Awesome triple, cloudy golden appearance, off-white head with great lacing around the glass, spicy nose full of citrus, grapefruit & yeast, full-bodied, very drinkable, smooth body & flavors, notes of lemongrass in the flavors along with citrusy hops & bread, very smooth finish with more spicy hops & delicate malt

Thanks to Degarth for this one. Pours deep coppery/dark straw colored with 2-finger off-white head. Aroma of floral spices, some hopcit, some yeasty cobwebby malts. The flavor is spicy and floral, with a solid hop and citrus presence backed up well by the malt. Well balanced and very enjoyable.

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2006 Golden body with a light red tint, duickly diminishing white head. Typical Belgian aroma, yeast and light fruits are most present. Tast is very interesting, a combination of a Belgian and an IPA. Belgian yeast dominate, but not without a heavy hop accent. Ending is warming with some wheat presence.

Bottle from Lubičre: Poured a light yellow ale with a huge foamy white head with perfect retention. Aroma of floral malt with grassy hops and light spices. Taste is refreshing with some grassy and floral malt, some fruit sweetness and light spicy finish. Body is just above average and alcohol is well hidden. This beer would have gained by not being so filtered IMO. Still a great triple and a very good thirst quencher.
