lusikka (2062) - Tampere, FINLAND - NOV 9, 2010
750 ml bottle.
Pours a hazy golden colour with a hazy, frothy, lacy and white head. Small visible yeast particles. At first the aroma is lemon, some hops and grass. Yeast brings the fruitiness. Flavour of sweetish malts, stinging hops, cinnamon and some other spices too. Very smooth mouthfeel with a longlasting mouthfeel of yeast, fruits and hops. A bit warming alcohol finish. This definitely has aging potential.

750 ml bottle. A hazy dark blonde beer with a large, frothy, lacing, mostly lasting white head. The aroma is moderately malty, lightly to moderately hoppy, lightly yeasty, with notes of toasted grains, flowers, herbs, orange peel, spices and exotic fruits. The flavour is moderately sweet, lightly sour, lightly bitter. Medium to full body, slick texture, lively carbonation, dry and quie long finish with medium bitterness, lightlly alcoholic. Not as good as Estivale, for example, but a good tripel, with nice peppery hints. It’s also true to style and dangerously drinkable.

Very wheaty. Nice amount of Belgian influence. One of the lighter triples. Good starter before the real heavyweights. Pours a light yellow. Aroma is minor barnyard.

On Tap. Poured a terrific golden yellow with a white head that looked perfect. This beer was a terrific tripel: tasted of light yeast, slight citrus with a bitter after, it went down easy with taste of hops. A very good tripel.

Bottiglia da 75 all’O Connor di Genova abbinata con tonno e senape su letto di cime di rapa. Ho capito male o ha luppoli ammeregani? in ogni caso molto molto buona

Beautiful, light orange beer with big and white head. Aroma is stunning, aromatic and fruitfull, spicyness, fructose, tropical fruits and hops. Flavour is fruitfull and quite sweet with quite high bitterness that balancing and dries the aftertaste. Also fruits, spicyness, some pine needles and hint of orange can be found from flavour. Medium palate with medium carbonation, easy and pleasant to drink. Trippel where everything is unbelievable greatly balanced; even the big bottle is empty for too quickly.

Bottle. beautiful beer. Pours as liquid gold with a bright frothy head. Light fruits with flowers and floral hops. Very complex and well balanced. Solid medium+ mouthfeel with the right balance of sweet and yeast.
