3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
750 ml bottle from Systembolaget, Sweden.
The beer has a hazy amber colour and a big, three finger hight, white head.
Nose: Belgian yeast, apple, ginger, hpney, perfume, spices and herbs.
Mouth: Orange, honey, coriander and sweet malt.
Medium body and carbonation - Perfect!
I can’t belive that this beer has 8.4% ABV - They have managed to hide the alcohol well.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
La Rulles Triple has a thin, white head, an opaque, brilliant orange appearance, and rather large brown specks, suspended throughout. Lacing is minimal. The aroma is of candy sugar, white bread, light fruits, and pungent yeast. Taste is of those elements with some building, background bitterness, sour dough bread, and even tomato juice elements. Mouthfeel is medium and prickly, and La Rulles Triple finishes wet and quite drinkable. Not alcohol detected in the sipping. RJT

On tap at the Delirium Cafe in Brussels. Hazy golden-orange with a foamy head. Citrus and pine hop notes, with a bitter finish. Fresh citrus aroma. Really pleasant stuff.

75cl bottle from Cactus supermarket Pétange, Luxemburg.
Poors amber almost orange very hazy with big white foamy crown. Appearance 5/5. Yeasty and very very malty taste - banana and mature fruits. One of the best Belgian triples i’ve tasted so far. Lovely!

Draught. Cloudy bright yellow pour with a thick frothy brilliant white head. Aroma of yeast, apples, spices and bread. Medium to full bodied with a nice finish, though not as dry as I prefer for the style.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle (750 ml). Cloudy orange with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is quite yeasty and fruity with perfume notes, herbal presence and light spiciness. Taste is quite fruity and yeasty with some spices and a light alcohol touch. Medium body. Lively carbonation. Rotten fruits finish. Decent Triple, but too fruity for my liking and make it a little bit cloying.
