Pours with a thin but lasting head, light glowing orange, mostly clear. Aroma has a dry, musty funkiness. Slight citrus with just hints of oak, pretty nice nose. Taste starts with some wheaty grains, subdued fruitiness with just a touch of bitter hops. Bready. Balanced, hidden alcohol. Mild candi sugar. Very smooth palate, incredibly easy to drink. Impressive for a style I don’t like that much.

Samples at Fête Bière et Saveurs. Nice aroma of banana, yeasty esters. Some hops. Taste is hoppy with banana and yeast. Some alcohol on the taste, quite warm on the finish. Quite dry. Very good triple overall. Would like to sample again.

On tap at the brickstore. Pours a cloudy golden color with a big white head that dissipates and leaves a decent lacing down the glass. Big malt profile gives this one some body. Nice spice and citrus flavors as well. A faint banana flavor in there too. Slight sweetness on the finish.

poured into a trappist to reveal a murky orange body with yeast floaties.typical white tripel head.smells almost like corona with a lime in it,along with belgian yeast.the flavor was well balanced and contained lemon, yeast, candy, and spices.this is a pretty average tripel.

Draught at zythos bierfestival 2009. Cloudy yellow colour with an average frothy white head. Aroma is yeast, spicy and peppery. Flavor is very sweet with strong notes of over ripe fruits. Bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours a nice golden yellow body with nice head. Aroma is yeast, earthy, esters. Flavor was a surprise compared to the typical tripel smell. Nice earthy body and very subtle spices that made the taste and body very smooth and quaffable. A world class tripel.
