| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 11, 2007 750 ml in Westmalle glass. Hazy orange with orange-tinted head and lace. Orangey aroma. Honey-orange flavor with tobacco bitterness and somewhat hoppy finish. Nice complex flavors. Very full-bodied for the style, I think. Fairly low carbonation. Very good. erway (1002), Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 25, 2005 Pours a hazy golden with a light sticky head. Aroma is heavily spiced with nutmeg and coriander being very prevelant. The flavor is equally heavy with spice and adds some yeastiness, and minor band-aid flavors. The body is med. The finih is short with the exception of some of the spices coating the tongue. Remember, if you can pick it out, you’ve used too much. sersdf (1000), chicago, Illinois, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 7, 2008 Updated: Mar 14, 2008750 bottle with a cool label poured a nice golden in color with a thick initial head falling back to become a thin layer with nice lacing. aroma has spicy yeast, caramel, sweet fruit, spice, and barnyard funk. mouth feel is on the thin side with a nice coating of the tongue. flavor hits with spiced yeast, malt, hay and grass. hops become present, good barnyard funk, and finishing with light sweetness on the dry side. a touch of bitterness and fruit top it off. real nice beer towards the spiced side just lacking body. ajm (976), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 24, 2009 Tap at Lucky Baldwin’s. Brian was selling the pants off this thing. No striking aroma to speak of, and flavor is a bit too much like a Belgian Pale - no thickness or Trappist quality. I quote BrotherGrendel: "A middle of the road Tripel with a bit too much lingering bitterness for the style." smith4498 (963), Miami, Florida, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 1, 2008 Pours hazy golden orange with off white head. Aromas of bread dough, spices and slight hoppiness. Sweet with spices, yeast, citrus and hops. Reminds me Chouffe Houblon but not quite as good. Medium body with lively carbonation. A pretty good beer.
