Poured cloudy yellowish orange with a fizzy off-white head. Citrus nose. Taste is malty sweetness, ctirusy hops and blended with a touch of alcohol. Dry finish. Nicely done.

Big lasting offwhite head. Clear deep yellow body with light
carbonation. Strong peachy earthy herbal aroma with funky oily
banana notes. Dry-sweet fruity peachy earthy taste with mealy
oily grassy notes. Mid-bodied. Slightly hot, mealy mouthfeel.
Dry grassy dandelion and peach aftertaste with grassy oily soft
metal notes. Quite bitter, but also sweet enough to balance it.
Really lovely. Highly drinkable and full of character. Very
complex, too. (0.75l bottle, wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)

0.75l bottle from the Beershop shared with heavy (thanks!). Poured a beautiful darker orange body, medium-small white head. Fine American hops in the nose, oranges, honey, typical Rulles (which isn’t a bad thing). The taste is fine and full, hop again, agrumey, on the bitter side. Some honey, somewhat yeasty. Light pine. A fine hoppy tripel, not too flashy, tasty.

Nice fruity taste. Light but with that lovely yeast taste you get from a triple. A really nice beer and perfect for football season.

UPDATED: JUN 7, 2005 This was a rather standard Tripel. A bit of pepper and fruit (citrus) coming through on this one. Had it on tap at Monks Cafe in Philadelphia.

Bottle. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Fruity aroma with some spicy hints. Sweet malty flavor with hints of fruits and spices. Also some hoppy hints. Sweet spicy finish with some bitterness.

Bottle. Hazy deep orangeish golden colour with mediumsized white creamy head, that leaves nice lace. Aroma is fruits, nectar/honey, some caramel malts and mild note sof some herbs and yeast as well. Flavour is being quite much the same. Quite dry finish.

Pours dark golden with a mostly receding white head. Aroma of apples, banana, cloves, and honey. Taste is sweet and fruity, with a mix of fruity apple and pineapple esters mixed with apple phenolics. Mouthfeel is full bodied, slightly sticky with full carbonation. Enjoyable, but not what I consider a top caliber tripel.
