750ml. Clear straw colored pour with a lot of visible bubbles and a white head. Pretty classic triple aroma - spices (coriander), orange zest, candi sugar, with alcohol and some funk in the background. Flavor is similar with lots of the malt showing the back half. Slightly metallic, but it doesn’t detract except in the finish. Highly carbonated with lots of small bubbles. Above average.

Bottle from Rivers Bend. Poured hazy orange color with a huge frothy head that lasted with excellent lacing. Complex spicy fruit and yeasty aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium fruity balanced flavor with a medium sweet finish of long duration with a small alcohol bite. This is a good beer.

Aroma of caramel, malt and alcohol. Color is a golden orange with good carbonation and a thin tight head. Taste is sweet and fruity. Starting with a medium body it goes down with a very smooth feel. Finish comes in sweet with an apple taste, a little yeast and a very faint bitterness. After taste is alcohol then a mellow dry feel. Good Belgian Triple, not one of the best, but the apple note makes it unique.

Bottle into chalice. Pours a hazy gold with a big, creamy white head, would be a great looking beer if not for all the floaties in there. Aroma is spicy yeast, over-ripe pears, candy sugar, herbal. Taste begins malty but a bit dry; candy sweetness is subtle rather than prominent, held in check in part by an herbal note. Spicy yeast is there also, coupled with a touch of spicy alcohol on the bittersweet, fruity finish with a definite floral hop presence. Feels slightly restrained, subtle. Mouthfeel is creamy, with a subtle carbonation and full mouthfeel. Interesting, different but well done.

75cl bottle from Habersham Liquors (Savannah, GA). Pours a cloudy golden caramel color with a thick, frothy white head that settles slowly and provides ample lacing on the glass. Aroma is apple, pear, candy sugar, caramel. straw, grass, and wheat. Taste is very sweet with notes of caramel, toffee, apple, banana, and spice. Medium-bodied ale with pear on the finish, but finishes a little too quickly. Overall a respectable tripel ale, definitely drinkable.

@Ginger Man-on tap-pours a dissipating white head and yellow color. Aroma is floral, sweet grain, white grapes, alcohol. Taste is floral, sweet grain, white grapes, alcohol, yeast, metallic, dry. If an American brewery would seem “an OK effort” but…
