{thoughts} Masterfully balanced sweet-spicy-sparkling, complex earthy-herbal undertones, rich malts. This is beer.

{elements}Hazy, dark peach hue; tight, creamy, white head. Primary aroma of crackers, honey and sesame with a tease of lemon zest and white grapes; interestingly smoky, almost fudgy, character likely yeast derived; softly herbal, forceful floral character. Gentle sweetness with well balanced acidity and bitterness; the latter is forceful enough, though never so much as to distract from the yeast and malts. Bright, scrubbing carbonation, medium body, creamy texture. Alcohol is detectable, but neither harsh nor intrusive, and yet the beer drinks like one half its size. 75 cl bottle, best before February 2012.

Bottle. Pale orange, hazy with white 2/3 finger head. Slowly reducing. Good lacing. Very malty - aromas of mature fruits, candy sugar, bread, yeast. Taste is very malty (mature fruits - bananas, melon, apricot) and sugary (candy, toffe), some spices (coriander) and belgian yeast (phenols, clove) in the background. Low bitterness, noticable from the middle of degustation. You can alos taste some citrus funky belgian notes through all the time. Medium to full body, creamy texture, medium carbonation. Finish is slightly bitter, dry with rotten fruits notes. Slightly alcohol warming. In overall great triple, with almost perfect texture. Great drinkabliity.

750 ml bottle - big gusher! Pours a very sediment-filled golden with a thick, resilient white head. Aroma is old malt, bubble gum. Flavor is sweet, gumball, a metallic touch. Finish is herbal, very spicy, coriander, mint, pepper, pear and peach. Medium to full body, weak to average carbonation. Probably had a big time bottling flaw?

Pours a cloudy orange with a finger ’ s worth of foam, slowly receding foam. I smell some bread, a bit of sweet malt that also has honey like qualities. Bread is up front but gives way to sweet and yes, I get honey in the taste as well. Medium is the word to describe the body and carbonation. Well, this is quite the tasty treat, easy drinking cuz the alcohol is held in check nicely. I can recommend it.

Aroma is clove, lemon grass, citrus, honey, and light sweet malts. Taste is light sweet roasted malts, honey and a slight hint of yeast and light bitterness that is fairly well balanced. Hibts of dark fruits aswell. Appearance is slightly hazy orange /gold body with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well.

La Rulles Triple has a thin, white head, an opaque, brilliant orange appearance, and rather large brown specks, suspended throughout. Lacing is minimal. The aroma is of candy sugar, white bread, light fruits, and pungent yeast. Taste is of those elements with some building, background bitterness, sour dough bread, and even tomato juice elements. Mouthfeel is medium and prickly, and La Rulles Triple finishes wet and quite drinkable. Not alcohol detected in the sipping. RJT
