Clear light to medium yellow amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, moderate yeasty, spicy, licorice notes, vinegar light notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, peppery - spicy finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20091004]

Moderately sweet and spicy yeasty malty aroma with an ethereally touch of (a bit soapy) lavender and hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, full bodied with a smooth and well-matured carbonation. Slightly sugary (cara-)malty base with a light fruity touch and spicy notes; sweet and slightly bitter hoppy, also quite alcoholic finish. Likeable although it lacks balance 31.VIII.09
