3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, 12C. Amber with a fluffy off-white head that collapses to a coat that lasts. Aroma of apples, pears, light toffee, musty dough, pepper, balsamic vinegar. Very overcarbonated mouthfeel (second glass poured from unstoppered bottle poured with a huge head but then was fine). Fruit and caramel sweetness, applish tartness, modest bitterness, very dry indeed with some spices and a slight bretty smack at the end. Can see great from here. Rustic and (carbonation issues aside) good.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
It doesn’t pour as red as some other reviews are saying, it’s more an orange yellow, has a really nice thin lasting tan head. It’s only lightly sour, refreshing with a bit more malt flavour.

3.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 8/20
Incredible. A good solid red with farmhouse complexity. Good roastiness, maybe a little too malt-sweet. Sourness not too over the top, just a touch of sour cherry, lemon. A dusty pepperiness. Could stand to be a little nore bitter.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
From 425 ml bottle. Pours a clear cherry red with some orange highlights and a thick lasting offwhite head. Aromas of lemon, vinegar, tart fruit and a light sweetness. The taste starts out with biscuit malt before a prickly tart note with fresh cherry, balsamic, lemon zest and pepper. That carries pretty much all the way to the end. Lingering zesty finish with a slight cherry aftertaste. Unusual but good.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a dark, fizzy red with a vibrant, fluffy pink tinged head. Nose is lightly tart and vinegary, a bit grassy. Flavor is malt forward. There’s some red berries, molasses, cola, caramel, slight noble bitterness on the finish. Not heaps of funk or yeastyness, though there’s a bit of musty dusty flavor to it. Flavor is perhaps only very slightly tart on the finsih, but oddly reminds me of Rodenbach without the sourness. Maybe a little overcarbonated, medium body. Pretty good.

Ruby red with nice fluffy off-white head. Lots of cherries and caramel sweetness in the aroma, along with spicy yeast. Taste is overall quite dry but has some initial sweet cherry, honey and cola with nice long mouth puckering dry finish. Light to medium bodied and some pepperiness. Quite good.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
La Sirene does it again. Makes a lesser known style accessible to everyone. Cherries, oranges, some tartness deep. But so wonderfully put together if a little foamy.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a deep Browny red. Spice, cherry and cola on the nose. Quite sweet with some of the cola and cherry coming through with some slight boozy hits and floral flavours. Light on the tongue, perhaps could’ve done with a lower carbonation profile.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Malt Traders 061214. Poured with a large loosely packed head of white foam and a murky looking red colour. There was a strange hint of sweetness in the aroma but mostly fruit. In the mouth there was a lively mouthfeel with a flavour that satisfies.

Bottle from mane liquor. Pours ruby with fluffy white head. Nose shows caramel, toffee and sweet fruit like peach. Taste is quite fruity, peach and nectarine come to mind. Bit of honey in there too. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours hazy ruby red with a frothy beige head. The nose is very cherry driven with sweet raspberries and passionfruit in there. Fruity and lively backed by a nice earthiness. Taste is cherry, orange blossom, lemongrass, wheat and blood orange. A nice fruity expression throughout. A touch too much carbonation which I’ve come to expect from these guys. Very tasty
