Bottle 0.33L. Hazy, yellow body with an average, frothy, white head, mostly diminishing with some lacing; average density of tiny bubbles. Moderate hoppy (herbal) and light malty aroma with evident notes of basil. Moderate-to-heavy sweet flavour with some light bitterness and sournerss in the finish; clear notes of basil. Light-to-medium body with watery texture; lively carbonation.

Yellow hay colour with minimal head on top. Really weird smell, spices, herbs, stingy basil and some vinegar too. Taste has pesto, basil, grassy flavors and just hints of sweet barley malts. Thin body and medium carbonation, really weird beer and Iím definitely not trying it again.

Draught @ Viisi Penniš, Helsinki

Pours hazy yellow with a tiny head. Aroma of strong spicy notes, pesto and hints of citrusy notes. Taste is spicy, lots of basilica, stingy and slightly citrusy with some lager notes. Finish is spicy and citrusy. Quite a spice overload.

(Draught at Oluttupa Viisi Penniš, 20130419) The beer poured pale golden and little bit hazy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had citricness and pesto. Palate was light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, fruitiness, pesto and bitterness. Aftertaste had bitterness and acridness. A weird beer and not nice either.

Draught. Pale yellow, cloudy. Whoa, this is interesting - herbs galore. After reading the description, you understand itís basil (in a really compressed and intense way), but a lot of other ones come to mind as well. Body is medium, quite smooth and nice, but overwhelmed by the herb. I guess there are malts in there, probably hops, but flavour-wise itís hard to say. This should be a really bad beer, but somehow the pugnency, intensity, of the basil makes it enjoyable.
