Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. (170708) Papsoe (11030), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 19, 2008 (Hand bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Slightly hazy deep golden with a small, off-white head. Distinct aroma of caramel and butter. Medium body with sweetish caramel and a lightly bitter finish. Drinkable but the buttery nose is very unfortunate. 120708 Ungstrup (11570), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 9, 2008 Handbottled. A dark amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of butter and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of berries - especially raspberries as well as notes of butter, leading to a dry finish with notes of straw. Thanks a lot yespr for bringing this to Copenhagen and sharing. yespr (7166), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jul 4, 2008 Updated: Aug 25, 2008From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a creamy almost white head. Butterish and light cornish aroma. Creamy carbonation mouthfeel. Flavour starts sweet with a distinct diacetyl note and a sweet cornish flavour with a nice caramel malt base, light spiced and with a decent level of bitterness into the finish. Basically a nice vienna, but another diacetyl flavoured brew.
