The aroma reminds me of faro. Citric and candid sugar. The flavour, however, is close to disgusting. It is a blend of somewhat bitter, dusty, yeasty, sweet and metallic with a twist of moald.

A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is acidic with notes of caramel. The flavor is also acidic with notes of wood and prunes, leading to a dry end. I think it was over the top.

Bottled. Murky brown coloured. Liquorice aroma. Sweet apple flavour. Slightly bitter finish. Interesting.

Sourish nose, quite malty. Dark reddish body, small tan head. Sweet flavor, sourish edge.

Murky brown colour with a tan head. Light acidic aroma with a spicy note. Anise flavor with a light bitter finish.

Bottle. Hazy brown colour with a small baige head. Light alcoholic acid aroma and a light sour malty taste. Medium body and a light alcoholic finish.

(Bottle 75 cl) Light brown, unclear beer with a creamy off-white head. Some weak sour notes combined with roasted malt in the nose. Also roasted malt in the flavour and some candi sugar, a bit low in carbonation and veru soft - smooth almost. Some slight sour notes that don’t appear as infection though. Go visit the brewery - if you can find it! (just around the corner from the Kongolo Memorial in Gentinnes). Brewmaster Patrick Broeckx is a very softspoken person - and quite a character! 170705
