3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Papsoe (23023) - Frederiksberg, - JUL 17, 2005
(Bottle 75 cl) Light brown, unclear beer with a creamy off-white head. Some weak sour notes combined with roasted malt in the nose. Also roasted malt in the flavour and some candi sugar, a bit low in carbonation and veru soft - smooth almost. Some slight sour notes that don’t appear as infection though. Go visit the brewery - if you can find it! (just around the corner from the Kongolo Memorial in Gentinnes). Brewmaster Patrick Broeckx is a very softspoken person - and quite a character! 170705
1.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 MartinKubert (862) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 20, 2006
The aroma reminds me of faro. Citric and candid sugar. The flavour, however, is close to disgusting. It is a blend of somewhat bitter, dusty, yeasty, sweet and metallic with a twist of moald.

A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is acidic with notes of caramel. The flavor is also acidic with notes of wood and prunes, leading to a dry end. I think it was over the top.
