1.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 jredmond (2828) - Manhattan, New York, USA - JAN 12, 2010
Bottle split with Dallas saved from last years trip to Canada. This brew is definitely skunked. A shame too, we really wanted to like this blond.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 EnSiFeRuM (501) - Quebec, CANADA - JAN 5, 2009
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 HogTownHarry (4872) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - JAN 6, 2008
Bottle (660ml). Via trade with Viper666. Classic slow-gushing Québec beer, totally loaded with huge dark chunkies - amber pour, with a large, quick-diminishing white head. Sweet aroma, hint of pear and paper, a bit floral. The taste is not bad - stingingly carbonated, sweet and fruity yet also harsh and increasingly metallic as it warms. Light, lively mouthfeel - apart from the shocking chunks and harshness, not all that bad. But watch the bottle! - it continues to foam up forever, you could have a mess on your hands if not careful.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Mart (211) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 14, 2007
Bouteille. Surpris.
1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20 tiggmtl (4475) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 14, 2006
Mildly grapey, husky, sweet malt aroma. Clear, deep golden body is topped by a decent, though fizzy, white head that recedes to a thin cover with marginal lacing. Grany and grapey flavour along with some of the tar-like, plasticky house character. Light, watery body with moderate, large bubbled, carbonation that is aggressive but doesn’t stick around. Tulip glass. Just above fridge temperature. Bottle (Peluso, Jan-05).
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Eructoblaster (2122) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 10, 2006
Bottle. Nice amber/dark gold hazy body topped with a decent white foamy head. Fair malty aroma with floral, yeasty and bready notes. Taste is not very well balanced: It is too malty and ends with a short bitter finish. Uninteresting.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20 Paskal (146) - La Prairie, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 2, 2005
Bouteille-De couleur doré foncé avec la présence de particule, odeur fleurale, goût quasi inexistant sauf peut-être son côté plastique, bouteille probablement infectée.--Bottle-Dark golden with yeast particules in the liquid, flowery smell, taste almost inexistant except maybe for the plastic taste side, probably infected.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 MartinT (6350) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 22, 2005
The Lure: Faint honey sweetness lazily falling onto flowery esters. Not much to capture your attention.
The Festivities: A sweet honeyed front harbors flowers and an anonymous fruit blend. The last half is grainy and young, finishing up with a yeasty placidity. Like most of their beers I’ve had, the feel is flat, unrefined, and seems unfinished. As if they don’t extract properly, or they just serve way too early into the process. Drinkable, never infected, but...
Transcendence: Immaturity bores those who are looking beyond.

Hazy honey-amber hue, with a nice foamy white head, yeasty, caramel malt, bready dough, honey, fruity aroma folows through on a medium-bodied palate with grainy, pale malt, soft floral hops, earthy note, with a delicate hoppy accent leading towards a faint malty finish.
