Bottle. Deep black body with a ring of tanned head. Aroma of raisins, sweet red plums, green leafy pine, and faint chocolate. Flavour and mouthfeel are quite thin - yeasty chocolate is mildly subdued, along with sweet roast and toffee.

Sweet brown malts with hints of roast. Light acidic vinous nose.6+
Medium light bodied. Dry roast, burnt coffee yet all mad shallow and weakly. Coffee at edges. Clean work , a bit to much carbonation.

Opaque black color with smallish light tan head. Aroma has chocolate, cream, slightly nutty, faint sherry notes with cherry. Flavor is roasty, hint of burnt coffee and caramel.

Roasted malts evoke coffee and cocoa-like chocolate in the biscuity aroma with mild underlying grape-like fruity esters. Opaque black body is topped by a decent, though fizzy, tan head that recedes rapidly to a thin partial cover and ring and completely shortly thereafter. Grapes are apparent in the flavour but pleasantly married to a biscuity malt character and plenty of roasted malts and powdery chocolate. Sweetness becomes cloying after a while. Medium body with shortlived carbonation that leaves the body feeling rather flat. While perhaps not great, this is at least drinkable. American pint glass. Cellar temperature. Bottle (Peluso, Jan-05).

Bottle. Black opaque body with a diminishing brown bubbly head. Nice malkty aroma with roasty and coffeeish notes. Malty/hoppy taste that lacks complexity. It ends with a short bitter/roasty finish. This has more to do with dark lagers than stouts. Anyway, this is the best product I’ve been tasting from from that brewer.
