Arôme de miel assez fort, amertume bien présente, houblonée, fines bulles et mousse qui tient peu. Pas désagréable, sans plus.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Commissioned bière de garde on 75 cl bottle with cork. Cream white, moussy, sticky head, warm yellowish blonde colour with fierce sparkling. Aroma of kiwi, green apple, freshly grated ginger, white grapes, honey, celery, sour cream, orange and hay. Fresh citrussy onset with sharp, mineral-like carbonation, sweetish malts, bit honeyish, light mouthfeel, dry powdery yeastiness, bit sourish, retronasal fruitiness, sweetish taste lingers but is countered by a late subtle hop bitterness and somewhat astringent, badly hidden alcohol.

330ml bottle (HBF2013, Friday)
Sweetish aroma, some vegetal hints. Fuck, in the mouth this is just vegetables everywhere. Rich malty body, but mashy and too damn vegetal.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750mL bottle at Churchkey thanks to Travlr. Thanks Gene! We thought we ordered La Choulette de Noel, but it came without a label so it was all Russian roulette here. Poured a clear light-orange/yellow color with a touch of a creamy white head, carbonation. Aroma was some peppery notes, with some funky character. Sparkling, highly carbonated - pretty sure infected - but enjoyable, fun to drink.

Last bottle at ChurchKey, courtesy of me. Almost a gusher. Cloudy straw color, massive white head. Aroma of dusty hay. Taste is hi carbonation earthy straw.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
750ml bottle at Churchkey. Big pop when the cork comes off. Pours a clear orange with some lacing, creamy head. Big, fruity nose, spice, clove, hints of brett. Not funky, but a little grassy. Flavor is sweet, malty, spicy, grass, tropical fruit, caramel, clove, some ginger, white pepper. Full bodied, sticky finish. Decent.

750mL c&c at ChurchKey thanks to Travlr. We ordered La Choulette de Noel, but that beer comes in a French cider green glass, smooth neck 750mL and is amber. Ours was clear blond, Brett infected, quite old, and had no label, but was in the brown US style bulbed neck bottle shown. It was with the La Choulette bottles I presume so I’m entering my rating here.
GUSHER- huge cork pop. Overcarbonated pour. White head on clear golden. Nose is Brett, muted funk, cedar, fresh orange, quite hoppy. Taste is minerally, spicy, hoppy. Infected, drained mouthfeel. Interesting. Not bad. And certainly not what was intended.
