Clear amberish coloured beer with small white head and medium carbonation. Fresh fruity malty aroma. Sprankling full palate. Herby malty ending, rather short finish. Not coming close to tripel and quadruppel.

Flaske. Flot orange-gylden øl med et hurtigt forsvindende skum. Dejlig frisk karbonering med et lille bid til tungen. Ellers frugtig med en god del sødme som man forventer af Koningshoven, men her er det tilpas. Flot klassisk blond.

330 ml bottle. Pours a deep golden color, slightly cloudy, medium head. Bright, fruity aroma, some banana. Taste is quite sweet, with some hops in the background. Pretty full mouthfeel, medium-heavy carbonation. A touch less sweetness would’ve made the balance better.

0.5l crock (a very cool way of selling beer, more abbey beers should come in crocks for novelty value). Pours with a good head, quite a lot of carbonation. Nice blonde beer with a strong hop-flavour, a little sour but very drinkable. Almost no alcohol taste.

Bottle (33 cl) at Tre Små Rum, Göteborg, Sweden. Hazy amber, medium off-white head. Fruity aroma with bitter almond and fudge, and yeasty notes. Medium bodied and smooth. Dry finish.

0.33 l bottle. Copper color with vanishing head. Caramel, toffee, orange and pear in the aroma. Sweetish caramelly flavor with restrained fruitiness, low bitterness and hint of herbal hops. Mellow and harmless beer without a backbone.

Golden with a bubbly, disappearing head. Grain, apple, yeast in the aroma. Sweetish malty flavour, with some Belgian (no offence, Dutch brewers) fruitiness. A nice drinkable blond ale.
