33cl bottle at Yerba Buena in Rimini. A bit lite but good flavor. weak body for the style. Easy drinkable.

Beautiful, clear golden colour. A a bright white head about 7cm high. On the nose, malt, but not a very good maltaroma. Freshly cut gras, maybe a hint of orange. In the mouth, vibrant and foamy. A long and good aftertaste with maltflavour dominating, in this case a good maltflavour. It´s light and spot on for it´s style. It is however, alittle bit boring. I would have expected more aromas and flavours, in more layers. If you want this "style" of Trappistbeer that´s lighter, Westmalles trappist (dubbel or tripel) is more complex.

Bottle. Light, very pleasant, fruit cocktail aroma. Light fruit cocktail flavours dominate with a hint of Trappist yeast flavour in the background. It has a subtle low hopping that makes it feel like drinking a British mild in a weird sort of way. The mouth feel is quite hard but that may be due to the high levels of carbonation. The finish reminds me a little bit of a desert wine and I wouldn’t have guessed it was 6.5%. Anyway, it’s an extremely quaffable fruity beer.

On tap somewhere in Ireland, don’t remember where. Spicy and fruity, very refreshing and easy to drink. Not quite the best of the style, but still quite impressive.

Bottle (33cl) from Vinmonopolet, Oslo. BB Sep 2010. Slightly hazy, honey golden colour. Eager head, settling down to a stable film. Aroma of honey, banana, caramel and resin. Medium body, soft carbonation. Feels a bit watery. Good balance between acidity and sweetness. Low bitterness. Lasting sweetish aftertaste.

Bottle, 5 years ago. Golden-orange, hazy. High and lasting head. Not very strong aroma, with hints of fruits and malt. Quite dry, not very full-bodied. Maltiness, a lot of yeasty, fruity notes, some spices, a bit of bitter orange. Good, but I prefer its stronger brothers.

Pours dark golden with a fully receding white head. Notes of pear, banana, caramelized fruit. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. More than likely an old bottle, will need to rerate to ensure the poor head retention and weak esters were due to age.
