Bottle. Pours a nice golden orange slightly hazy colour with a big bubbly and creamy shortl lasting white head. Aroma of yeast, fruits, toasty malt and caramel. The flavour yeasty and malty with caramel, slightly smoky, good fruitiness and alcohol. Bit dry hoppy sweet finish.

33 cl bottle, ’bbe’ Sep 08. Orange, light cloudy. Yeasty and fruity (banana, melon, pineapple) aroma. Sweetish and fruity taste with a light hoppy finish, which develops certain spiciness retronasally. Nice body for a 6.5% beer.

Yellowish colour (young home made Aligote wine), very cloudy, respectable foamy head. Fruity aroma and palate. An extradose of yeast.

Pours a golden color with a large frothy head that disappated quickly. There was almost no lacing left on the glass. I smelled malt, spices and some dried fruit on the nose. Very dry palate with tastes of malt, fruit and yeast. Very low carbonation and not. The mouthfeel wasn’t what I expected and was rather weak for a Belgian Ale. It seemed like something was missing as this was not very complex.

Rhythmically ticking (really) murky orange measure sniffing of wood, candy and bananas. Flavour-wise, peach-like fruitiness, slightly smoky malt and pleasantly wheaty afters. But a dank, watery antiseptic cardboard back taste that really doesn’t convince. Echoes of Vieux Lille. Very disappointing.

Bottle. Little cloudy, yellow color. Sweet aroma with flowers, yeast and wheat. Feels thick in mouth with right balance of carbonate. Didn’t like the taste that much. It has lots of different hard-to-define flavours. overripe fruits, vegetables (peas?) and yeast. This is my first belgian ale, and it wasn’t my kind of beer.
