COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle. Filtered, then bottled with sugar and yeast.
Ingredients: Water, Barley malt, Hops, Yeast.
This scintillating golden ale boasts a rich, fruity, and fresh aroma. And a light malty and sweet taste. It has a soft bitterness with a friendly aftertaste. A well-balanced blend of complexity and simplicity. La Trappe Blond continues to ferment in the bottle.

Bottle. Cloudy orange with a huge frothy head. Aroma of sweet overripe fruits, banana and yeast. Sweet but not cloying, fruity, malty, light citric bitterness. Light-medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry-ish finish. Decent.

Pours a a light cloudy golden colour with a small head, fruity, citrus aroma, also a fruity flavour of orange - citrus and grains, nice creamy texture - smooth, one of the best blonds I’ve had.

Pours unclear golden with a small white head that disappears quickly. Minimal to no lacing. Aroma is yeasty and malty. Some hops, fruits and brown sugar. Taste is medium sweet with a slight bitterness. Medium body and a bit oily. A pretty typical belgian-style ale.

0,33l fles goudgeel met een minimale schuimkraag. Zoet als honing met een beetje bloemen. Body redelijk.

The blond Trappe replacing the trappists’ Enkel when Bavaria took over. Snow white, sticky head, peach blonde colour with orange hue, lightly hazy; quite weak aroma of orange, apple, flowery hops, honey, cheese, karamel, butter. Restrained fruity taste, caramel malt sweetness, light, bit mineral-like due to rather strong carbonation, light spiciness in the end with some herbal hops. Very ordinary and even a bit bland, the contrast with the style-wise comparable Westvleteren Blond couldn’t be bigger.
