Bottle at home. Dark hay-coloured with a rich head but fades fast. Fruity esters in the aroma. Fruity belgian yeast dominates the flavour with some spices. Light bitterness. Fizzy and gives a slick mouthfeel. Overall an okay blond but somewhat ordinary. A nice spicy touch.

From a 330ml bottle on 20/12/2011. Pours a slightly cloudy golden with a medium head. Has a light aroma of fruit and spice. The flavour is also primarily of fruit and spice. A reasonable Belgian blond but unremarkable.

Pours light orange with a hazy white head. Strong spicy and stingy aroma with hints of hops and malts. Taste is quite fruity and spicy. Light bodied and medium carbonated. Finish is slightly warming and fruity. Quite tasty and well balanced blonde.

Bottle into a Corsendonk chalice. Hazy amber orange. Aroma is of yeast, red grape juice, dates. Moderate sweetness, nicely balanced with bitter hops. Flavors of apple, banana, almonds, raisins. Very nicely balanced and drinkable Trappist Blond. No trace of the modest 6.5% ABV. Dangerously sessionable.

Nice trappist beer. Lighter than the other la trappe beers. But it has a nice taste.....

0,3 liter fles. Een behoorlijk goeie trappist. Veel smaak. deze bevaalt me vele malen beter dan de dubbele van gisteren.

Clear orange golden colour, firm white head. Aroma of malts, yeasty banana, somewhat sweet, slight pepper and spices. Flavour somewhat sweet, balanced bitterness, malts, yeast, banana, quite spicy. Finish sweet malty with some bitterness in the end.

Murky golden orange, thin head, quite bubbly. Strong aroma, malty banana. Dry banana flavour. Medium-thin, quite highly carbonated. Very enjoyable, could do with a stronger flavour, and fuller palate.
