Bottle from the SAQ. Poured a hazy blond ale with a medium white head that disappear quickly. The aroma is pretty subtel but reveal interesting notes of spices, sweet malt, and honey. Taste is well malted, not too sweet, with a nice coriande touchr and a long spicy, sweet and somewhat bitter aftertaste. Palate is a little shy of being medium. Good.

Pours an attractive hazy golden color with a thin white head. Overall taste is very smooth and sweet with spices mentioned in smell. A little fuzzy and warm.

Quite fruity and spicey; apple, banana and cinnamon. Cannot make myself enjoy these tastes. Quite nice aftertaste, moderately bitter.

Bottle under the name of Koningshoeven 4 pack. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate bread malty and sour citrus aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture. Medium balanced flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.

Bought it in a Koningshoeven 4pk with a Trappist Glass. Yellow in color. Light and refreshing. Slightly fizzy.

Bottle, best before September 2006, so I guess it has stayed quite a few months at the Norwegian state liquor store outlet. Orange and hazy with a decent offwhite head. Fruity aroma with cellar notes. Piney hops. Sweet cellar flavours, dryish finish. Some spiciness. Maybe not a bottle in tip-top shape, but the beer is still highly drinkable.

Offwhite head on an orange body. Malty and sweet after taste. Not a bad experience.
