Bottle. Light plum, peach and malt aroma. Slightly cloudy orange amber color with small head. Slightly sweet plum and malt flavor. Light but a very drinkable beer.

Draught. Dark golden/pale amber colour, minor white head. Strong banana and malts in aroma, also other fruits noteable (orange and passionfruit). Flavour is strong caramel and banana with hints of malts and some flowery hops becoming present in finish.

Bottled in Amsterdam. Dark golden pour. Lots of frutiness, some spiciness. Good but not excellent.

Small but stable creamy beige head, copper coloured slightly unclear body. Aroma of alcohol, dried apple, wheat. Spicy and orange fruity flavour, malty finish, somewhat salty.

Light yellow with white head. Fruity freshness. Not too complex- easy drinkable. A somehow allround good blonde for starters.

Pretty good, somewhat standard belgian. Pours mirky yellow orange with a head that lasts for a while, not forever. Aroma is very strong yeast and sugar. Flavor is biting on the tongue, bready and alcohol, and some sweetness.

Had a ultra refined fresh wheat colored body. Very little aroma...subtle or all together lacking? What was there was a bit of sweet florals and spicey yeast. The taste was also a little under-ambitious. But what the hell...it had some nice honey and fresh fruit going on...and it did have a clean hop finish that let you appreciate the bit of slight belgian character it had with each new sip. Mouthfeel was refreshing and light bodied. This is a belgian you’d drink at a baseball game or something like that.

Damn I wish it were easier to spell the name of this one should have stuck with la trappe. Clear copper body and a nice silk white head. Honey and hay aroma with an earthy yeast scent to it. I bought the special 4 pack with this the dubbel tripel and quad. So now I have a cool little bowl of a koningshoeven glass. And it does look nice in the glass. A nice flavor to this, white grapes, a touch of banana and a bit of clove in the background. Sticky mouth feel a nice refreshing tart finish that works well. Ap-4 ar-7 tas-8 pal-4 ov-16
