Bottle. Filtered, then bottled with sugar and yeast.
Ingredients: Water, Barley malt, Hops, Yeast.
This scintillating golden ale boasts a rich, fruity, and fresh aroma. And a light malty and sweet taste. It has a soft bitterness with a friendly aftertaste. A well-balanced blend of complexity and simplicity. La Trappe Blond continues to ferment in the bottle.

Off white head, near clear golden body. Scents of wheat malts, ripe and fermented banana, lots of sour berries. Tongue gets wheat malts, ripe banana, hubbabubba bubblegum, sweet redcurrant. Yeasty zesty. Normal body. Still fruity in average aftertaste. [33cl brown bottle, 6.5%abv, #k17611, BB01.17, B@Systembolaget, T@höme]

Schön fruchtige Nase, leichte Ananas. Im Geschmack süßlich, dann bitter, im Abgang sauer. Sehr interessante, aufeinderfolgende Noten. Kaum Schaum, kaum Perlen, leicht trüb. Lecker!

It pours hazy golden with a lasting short white head. It has the aroma of yellow/orange fruits with herbs and some yeast. The taste is light sweet and medium bitter, well balanced towards the finish. Carbonation is high with a creamy mouthfeel. Very refreshing as well.

33cl systembolaget. ljus grumlig färf. doftar belgisk jäst. Smakar fruktigt och har en tydlig smak av belgisk jäst. Riktigt bra för att vara en ljus öl!

Review based on the BJCP2008 guidelines (style 18A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 08:59 K17D14. AROMA: sweet and spicy aroma background with some orange notes. some perfumy and honey-like alcohol aromas. APPEARANCE: intense gold color and translucent but with deposit that may give a very hazy appearance. good moussy white head with good retention and lacing. TASTE: smooth flavours with light notes of sweetness, esters (orange like) and spicy alcohols. medium-low bitterness with a medium-sweet finish. no hop flavours noticeable. PALATE: medium-low body with high carbonation. smooth alcohol warmth. OVERALL: an average exemple of a classic belgian blond ale (altough La Trappe is brewed in the Netherlands).

Pas mauvaise pour une blonde trappiste.Meilleure, plus fine que toutes les blondes "d’abbaye".
