maeib (4677), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Jan 8, 2006 Bottled. A very slightly hazy orange coloured beer with no head. The aroma has banana and pineapple, and is a bit syrupy. The taste is also sweet and fruity; a real fruit cocktail. None of the yeastiness or spiciness I would be looking for. A bit of a disappointment. bluevegie (2169), Perth, Australia Jan 4, 2006 Medium size white head on top of an orangey golden body. Buttery aroma also a little pepper. A little thin in the taste but much more palatable than my previously tasted beer. Soft malt, banana, dry finish but just lacks a bit of guts. RAYBOY01 (1813), Chicago, Illinois, USA Dec 27, 2005 Nice dessert-type beer. Sweet caramel/toffee, apricot, and wild honey flavors. Very, VERY mild hopping! Bit of an alcohol kick, making me think this was a bigger beer than it turns out to be. Some hints of banana and gumballs....making me feel like I might be back in pre-school at snack time, enjoying an apricot juice wearing a couple of Salerno butter cookies on my finger like doughy rings. I hope that’s perfectly clear! Magicdave6 (5400), London, Greater London, England Dec 22, 2005 Unexciting beer with buttery honey sweetness, giving me nothing and the persistand yeast gets in the way, never mind the alcohol that would make you think this was a 10% beer. Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Dec 18, 2005 Pale amber with a creamy head, this has an aroma of pale malts, floral hopping, and tart orange juice. Soft but creamy in the mouth, it tastes of soured orange, sweet malt, white pepper, hop bitterness, and, although not particularly strong, a touch of alcohol. The finish is abrupt, slightly dry. Drinkable, but not memorable.

larsga (2937), Oslo, Norway Dec 18, 2005 Medium white head, quickly subsiding. Clear orange body. Sweet vinuous banana-like aroma with sourish lacquer notes. Taste very like the aroma, very soft. Watery mouthfeel. Faint, lingering, peppery, banana-like flavours. No real aftertaste. Good, highly drinkable, but for a Belgian-style beer not that interesting. imdownthepub (5089), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Dec 16, 2005 Bottled, 330ml, filtered. Orange gold with large white head. There is a spicy, tangy aroma followed by a thinnish and slightly cheap perfumy flavour, bubblgum sweet with a hint of Bazooka Joe strawberry. Grainy and pleasantly malted, but overall a little too cloying. Boutip (2334), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Dec 12, 2005 Bottle: Poured a deep golden/orangey color ale with a huge foamy head with excellent retention. Aroma of floral malt with candy-like sweetness, which is very enjoyable and reminiscent of the other beer from this brewery. Taste is also dominated by the candy-like sweetness and big malt. This beer does the same thing that Christophel did for me for Pilsner if you see what I mean.
