Flavor:floral, good malt flavor, light alochol... MoritzF (4856), Bochum, Germany Oct 17, 2005 (bottle) Slightly cloudy orange colour with a foamy minimal off-white medium head. Fruity (pineapple) and malty aroma with a touch of bubblegum and a dense ethereal note of peppermint. Soft sweet malty and fruity taste, quite fizzy mouthfeel, light to medium bodied, rather slim dry and bitterfruity finish. harrisoni (6703), Ashford, Kent, England Oct 7, 2005 Updated: Jan 9, 200650cl stone crock from Morrisons. Looking forward to this, but disappointed. Hazy orange, no head, bubble gum, banana and some spice. These flavours dominate throughout with soft banana in mouth, and then the finish is quite disappointing, more banana and bubblegum. Bit flat and one dimensional. MesandSim (5784), London, Greater London, England Sep 28, 2005 A Mes rate:
Lots of fruit in the flavour and aroma. Pineapple, banana and a little bit of passion? Slight lick of alcohol. Plenty of sweetness too maybe a little too much. A little but lifeless but a reasonable sweet then bitter finish. Sounds like I have slated it a little but it is better than my notes would have you believe. JayBaxter (386), Greater Manchester, Greater Manchester, England Sep 16, 2005 A slightly hazy orangey beer with a large head, aroma is like a bag of toffees - peardrops ? This is carried through into the flavour, sweet and again pears. Nice enough if a little sweet but i’m glad i picked up 3. hughie (3012), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Sep 14, 2005 Light amber, clear, with a small head, the aroma is sweet and fruity - pears, I think. A hint of yeast in the background. Taste began with a shot of malt, reminiscent of an English bitter, but the rest of the flavour was 100% Belgian: sweet, fruity, gentle and lacking in dryness. The more I drank the more flavours emerged. What a delightful evening! tupalev (2605), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 13, 2005 Bottle, Smokeless Joe’s. Dark yellow, small white head. Really bubbly - this beer looks fantastic when served in the proper glass. Initial taste was a little bottle - like and stale. Frothy medium mouthfeel. Slightly sweet taste - a little unbalanced really. Nothing at all in the finish. A pretty good beer that just went a little overboard on the sweet side for me.
