nice white head leaves a nice lacing around the glass, golden, sweet smell kinda fruity, and some yeasty skunky aroma, flavour of orange, some wheat and a good alcohol finish, decent blond

Bottle: Clear gold with a large white head. Wheaty bananas in the nose with some warming clove and peppery alcohol presence. There’s a slightly metallic grassy edge though, as well as a touch of creamed corn. In the mouth banana esters and some wheat tang, but it’s all a little underwhelming, despite a nice, creamy mouthfeel and gentle warmth. What really grates is a wet cardboard taste that accompanies the corn aroma. Pretty dissapointing.

Bottle at home. Refreshing ale with a kick to it. Fast-head, orange, smells and tastes citrusy. Sugar picks up at the end.

Pours a deep golden orange with an initially large white head, which fades. . Soft and different. A bit fruity, hints of pears, green grapes (white wine like), touch of old basement. Light fluffy mouthfeel. Sweetness is present. Fruity, pears a bit muscat like. Touch of green grapes, apricot. A bit of a stale charateristic, corky flavor, almost reminiscent of wet basement. Soggy woodchip, late alcohol hint. Different.

UPDATED: OCT 31, 2006 Bottle. Colour is golden with a hazy look to it. Fine white head. Aroma is peaches, spices, yeast, and maybe even some lemon. Flavour is sweet. Body I thought was light-medium. Smooth sweet finish (**).

Beer pours deep gold, almost orange, with white head. The white head is thick and laces the glass heavily. The aroma is a little grassy, lots of sweet malts, sugar, and lots of yeast - very bready and sweet with some alcohol, too. The beer is very bready and malty, very little hops, some sweetness. The finish is thinner, with a little hops and some astringent, grassy flavors.
