| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 25, 2003 Big fluffy, clinging head on a hazy yellow body--but I had to pout into a blue glass because that's all my mother had.... Musty, cork aroma, deeply cellared flavor with spiciness and alcohol present. Metallic edge, slightly bitter. Slightly flat as palates go. Despite all that, I thought this was very drinkable in a pinch. Evster64 (106), Kempner, Texas, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 27, 2003 Bottled: Clear golden coloured. Huge white head. Malty, spicy and light alcaholic aroma. Fruits (apple), malt and a sharp alcahol edge in the flavour. Light watery. Alcahol is dominant in the aftertaste. Probably the worst La Trappe beer IMHO.
