Great aroma from yeast. Fruity peach and secondary citrus taste, easy drink. Good 1st or 2nd beer. A great pale. Hoppy too.

A golden/amber color, with light co2 and a full white head (low retention). Light aroma hop, and smells of bubblegum, malt, cider and banana. Flavor is lightly sweet -- malt and banana with a tart and lightly acrid finish. Palate is light bodied, but lively and effervescent. IMHO: No brouhaha here. I am partial to Belgian beer, but this one is not very remarkable and poorly balanced.

Golden color with a thick white head. Sweet fruit aroma with a bit of a musty scent. Sweet malt and fruit flavor but not overly so. Finish is a little tart and bitter. I’m surprised at the fairly low average for this beer. I liked it quite a bit.

Koningshoeven Label. Poured a medium cloudy orange color with a larger, frothy head. Aromas of yeast, fruity, some citris and light spices. Tastes of light spices, citris and fruits. Light tart finish. Not bad...

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Hazy, darkish golden coloured. With a firm and creamy white head. Banana in the aroma. Flavour is a great sharp, fruity mixture, grapes, citrus, spices and more. Full bodied with a sharp bitter finish. Excellent Dutch beer.

Golden with small white head. Yeasty, berry notes. Sweetish banana flavor. Mouthfeel is thin. Refreshing but light. (7/3/6/2/10 2.8).
Re-rated, bottled (BB 12/2008). Hazy orange color, small steady head. Very fruity (apricot, mango, banana) nose. Carbonated. Very wheat beer like, lots of banana esters. Thin palate. (7/3/7/3/13 3.3)

UPDATED: SEP 9, 2007 Despite it’s low rating compared to the other varieties, I really like this one. It’s a nice one to drink many of b/c it doesn’t deliver a wallop of alcohol. There is definitely an alcohol flavor but it’s subtle. This one has tons of flavor and has a bit of citrus/tart under-tones. At first I wasn’t sure how I would rate it but it has really grown on me. It seems as if the more I drink it the more I crave it.

Bright and glowing golden hazy appearance with a beautiful full white head. Aroma is a straw and grain sour experience... flavor is a thick and zesty mixture of white grapes, pears, lemon, bread and some yeast. Quite thick in the mouth but still feels light. Bit of a rotten pear flavor loses some points.

Pours cloudy orange with a medium off-white head. Banana and orange aroma. Flavor is sharp and citrusy, with lemon, orange, and a touch of banana mingling with white grape and perhaps plum. This beer does have a yeasty cookie dough aspect. Although the palate is a bit acidic and sharp for my tastes, overall this is a good beer.
