A re-taste confirms my suspicion that the earlier bottle was not at its best! Golden in appearance reminds me of the highly prized botrytised wine. Unfortunately this is not. However the good news is this is one mouth-watering ale not to be missed by any beer enthusiasts alike! The delicate aroma is sweet and somehow creamy with subtle toasty character. The nose becomes more interesting as time goes by with sweet bean paste and citrus spring to mind! Off-dry with a cream-like texture and subtle fruits that finishes off very refreshing. Very good indeed!

A nice blond/golden beer. Smell and taste aren’t very complex but they are fine. Nothing to hate about this one. Mouthfeel/body is lovely.

Leckeres Blond! 330 ml bottle. Pours a deep golden color, slightly cloudy, medium head. Bright, fruity aroma, some banana. Taste is quite sweet, with some hops in the background. Pretty full mouthfeel, medium-heavy carbonation. A touch less sweetness would’ve made the balance better.

Cloudy orange with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity and yeasty. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. 220511

0.33l bottle. Pours a mild hazy light orange body with some nice little dark sediments and a big lasting fluffy white head. Aroma is citrus, spice, grapefruit, yeast and mild sweet grapes. Body is medium, medium carbonation and has a oily to sticky mouthfeeling. Lightly sweet flavors, low bitterness and a distinct yeasty flavor. This gives a nice and mild citrus and hay finish with a lasting orange and almost pepper-spicy aftertaste. The aftertaste actually reminds me much of a Germain hefe weiz.
