COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle. Filtered, then bottled with sugar and yeast.
Ingredients: Water, Barley malt, Hops, Yeast.
This scintillating golden ale boasts a rich, fruity, and fresh aroma. And a light malty and sweet taste. It has a soft bitterness with a friendly aftertaste. A well-balanced blend of complexity and simplicity. La Trappe Blond continues to ferment in the bottle.

Doesn't measure up to the other La Trappe brews. Average Blonde at best.

A slightly unclear orange beer with a fantastic head. The aroma is primarily fruity but with soft wheat tones. Lovely flavor: orange, sweet, soft, round, wheat, and a sting of alcohol. Ending on a filling sweet note rather than bitterness. A great beer.

Wow, this beer smells kind of skunky. The color is a golden orange, the head is thin and chunky. Flavor is quite pleasant. Yeast and fruit front, bright and lively on the tounge, and nice fizzy finish. You cannot go wrong with a Trappist Ale.

Slightly hazy liquid with a giant foamy head that lasts the life of the beer. Nice sweet malt aroma with hints of fruit. Good sweet malty flavor. Easy drinking. Hints of metal appear halfway through the glass. Finishes very smoothly. Clean and easy to drink.

UPDATED: JUN 4, 2003 This brew has a fruity floral aroma. It poured a nice long lasting head of small and medium white bubbles that left a good lacing. Its body is a nice cloudy amber brown color. Initial taste caught me off guard but later settled into something nice. Nice drinkable brew with a mellow subtle flavor.

Sweet, lightly floral aroma, some melon and honey. Medium golden yellow color, average head. Flavor is malty and sweet, some light fruitiness and faintly spicy hop. Finishes lightly tart, mostly sweet, aftertaste sees some faint candle wax(?!). This is a decent, if uninspiring brew.

Drinkable blond ale. Citrus, malt, and yeasty flavor. Finishes dry, hoppy, and mild.

UPDATED: MAY 25, 2007 Sweet, rounded palate, not too complex flavour wise, but does have subtle fruity flavours intermixed with a fine malty palate. The mouthfeel is where this beer truly shines... so full and satisfying. I like it a lot.

Golden color with a big white head. Sweet malt aroma. Flavor is sweet and a little bitter with a lot of carbonation. Finish is a little sour and bitter.
