Bottle. Filtered, then bottled with sugar and yeast.
Ingredients: Water, Barley malt, Hops, Yeast.
This scintillating golden ale boasts a rich, fruity, and fresh aroma. And a light malty and sweet taste. It has a soft bitterness with a friendly aftertaste. A well-balanced blend of complexity and simplicity. La Trappe Blond continues to ferment in the bottle.

Bottle. Little cloudy, yellow color. Sweet aroma with flowers, yeast and wheat. Feels thick in mouth with right balance of carbonate. Didn’t like the taste that much. It has lots of different hard-to-define flavours. overripe fruits, vegetables (peas?) and yeast. This is my first belgian ale, and it wasn’t my kind of beer.

Bottle, 750 ml. (bb 06.2007) Clear orange/golden body under a low, vanishing white head. Typical fruity Belgo nose with scents of ripe banana and mild spices. Nice sweet/acidic flavors; sweet citrus, green apples with hints of honey, spice and alcohol. Distant hopbitterness. Smooth palate. Dry/acidic finish.

UPDATED: SEP 14, 2007 BALANCED. Color amber, gives will to fall soon of mouth at the beginning. The aroma is a chapter to the part, floral intense, felt me in Belgium of truth. Accented palate and balanced of banana and malt, a delight. If it has something that I can say against this beer I am the cream. In my cup, it was not nothing consistent and persistent........................................ Putzz loira maravilhosa!

Cor dourada, levemente turva. Aroma e paladar frutados e levemente metálicos.

A nice suprise. A sherbert in the true sense. Retains alot of simplicity. A fine drop.

Pours orange with a thick light tan head. The aroma has light fruits (apple, nectarine), spice, sweet malt and a light hint of barnyard. Medium body with some slickness and sharp carbonation. The taste starts with musty fruity malt and some cardboard. Not as complex as most Belgium ales. The finish has some sourness and astringency. Okay beer, but for the price there are significantly better Belgium brews to sample.
