Bottle. Filtered, then bottled with sugar and yeast.
Ingredients: Water, Barley malt, Hops, Yeast.
This scintillating golden ale boasts a rich, fruity, and fresh aroma. And a light malty and sweet taste. It has a soft bitterness with a friendly aftertaste. A well-balanced blend of complexity and simplicity. La Trappe Blond continues to ferment in the bottle.

Pours with very little head. Fruity aroma is overpowered by yeast. Light copper/dark amber color. Not much in the way of flavor. Decent mouthfeel. Okay. Cheers!

Slim, yellowish-orange head, fast gone, orange-golden, nearly ochre beer. Grain, and a very, very faint initial whiff of vinegar, later something spicey as preserved ginger and orange peel - or mouldy lemons. Again citrus in the taste, most likely orange zeste again. Hint of acidity, rather citrus than acetic, this time - but that pinch of ginger is still there, as well as some honey. Fizzy MF initially, though no apparent pearling. Falls flat afterwards. Brew seems tired, past its prime, somehow - though not the bottledate. Lightly lightstruck? Not very inspiring, anyway.

Pours a pretty golden color, lacing white head. Not much aroma. This beer must have sat on the shelves too long because it was was past its prime. Yeast was overpowering.

Candy aroma. Very sweet and fruity with plums, raisins, maybe some grapes. the taste was the same. balanced, smoothe, fruity as all hell. Grapes mainly. I dig it. its fruity, no harsh flavors, quite drinkable and etc etc. Very nice, dare i say im impressed. nice medium, heavy body, the perfect amount of carbonation.

Golden color, with a large, white head. Aromas of hops and fruit. Flavors are sweet malt, fruit, and bananas. Body seems just right. Better than I expected.

A medium sized white colored head. The coloring of the body is a very light gold with lots of carbonation bubbles. The aroma is vanilla ice cream, peaches and banana bread. Teh flavor is sweet with bananas, cinnamon and bready witha slight clove finish. This is light and too sweet. Could also use more body.

Bottle from gift pack with glass. Hazy dark golden pour with little head. Aroma was nice fruity, malty, but not very strong. Very nice delicate flavor of banana and peach. Lightly hopped and well matched to the fine flavor. Slightly sharp finish. I liked this a lot, much more tasty than the low average rating it has recieved. Very pleasant blond ale. Very tasty and good looking in the Koningshoven gold-rimmed glass. Many of the ratings on the Ratebeer website just don’t make any sense, it gets a 3.71 on beeradvocate which is much more sensible. Even swill from Sam Adams gets a 3.3 on this system. This ale is quite delicious. No accounting for taste here... and while I’m complaining, this website has more downtime and server issues than any other website that I use.. (sorry for the rant...I’m through now)

Bottle. Amber color with a whitish head. Fruity banana aroma with yeast and malt. Malt, fruit, and big banana flavors. Medium body with a certain smoothness. Some metallic flavors to end with.

Pours murky golden yellow with a big white head. Aroma is yeasty banana and some citrus maybe orange? Banana did not show up well in the flavor mostly a light malt taste with a slightly dry bitter finish. Just lacks a bit in flavor. Overall decent.
