3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Hazy straw to amber colour with a little white head that fades nearly straight away. Nose is slightly stale and of banana, alcohol and sweetish malt. Some citrus hints, but not big. Mouth is big on alcohol, some toffee and more banana, some sweet fruits and some bitter hoppiness. Palate is much of the same, warming and alcoholic presence.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Labeled as Koningshoeven Blond.
Pours a light amber with a white head. Has a light matly-yeasty flavor with some fairly lively cabonation. Has a light mouthfeel with some lingering taste.
Overall a pretty good beer, but since its coming from this brewery its pretty much a disappointment. After the Quad and Dubbel I had expected so much more, but oh well. If someone offers it to me I’ll gladly drink it, but I would never pay this much for this beer again.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Light amber, pours with a creamy head, which disappears quite quickly. Strong, but light, grainy aroma - almost wheat-like in its lightness (lack of roasting), but without the corriander that accompanies wheat. There is some perfume and blossom though.Taste is also a light maltiness. Not a huge flavour, but it makes up for it in quality, it’s sweet and inviting.
