Bottle brown, 330 ml
Appearance: Pours hazy - yeasty in body texture, very mild carbonation, body colour is honey like, deep shiny golden, even oily but more pale than ’La Trappe Tripel’. Head is initially small, slightly off - white, foamy and quite quickly decreasing and disappearing, there in no visible lacing especially due to rather not distinctive head in that kind of beer.
Aroma: Very gentle orangy, orange peal, refreshing, dlightly yeasty, white wine grapes, white table wine, mild sweetness, some notes of good quality grains, wheat, white bread, fresh bakary.
Flavour: Grainy, white bread, wheat, generally more towards grains and maltyness with bitter hoppyness on palate and moderate hoppy nose, some minerality in nose and accidity on palate. Alcohol is perfectly hidden as for auch a pale blond Belgian ale. Reduced dramatically in its fruityness as compared to Dubbel, Tripel and Quadrupel. Finish duration is long.
Palate: Body is medium, texture is dry especially towards finish palate and aftertaste becomes dry, carbonation on palate is dry, finish feel ich chalky, flour, grainy with gentle and positively nice alcoholic warmth.

Ceramic bottle, 50cl. A good blonde belgian ale, crisp and refreshing. Pours nicely and has a medium lasting head. Good belgian style ale.

Bottle, 75cl. Pours a golden colour, with rich, though short lasting, head. Nectar on the nose and palate, with some sourness, and undertones of yeast and hops.

50 cl bottle in clay. Very decorative and smokin when popped. Golden body and a white head that fates away instantly which turns the look into something similar to apple-cider.. bummer. The nose is fruity and citrus-like with yeasty notes. The palate is sparkling and round. The taste is buttery with citrus-notes and toffee. The finish is medium lasting. Not very interesting

Bottle-Memphis. Shallow, temperary head, surprised at the lack of carbonation in the style. The body was full with a lasting sweetness. An enjoyable brew but not indicative of the style.

Cloudy golden with a barely noticable head. Yeasty aroma, and a flavour mainly yeast with hints of pepper, banana and flower.

75cl bottle from Beverage Castle (Tampa, FL). Pours a hazy dark dark amber color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is sweet malt, honey, notes of brandy, possibly some sweet ripe fruit. Flavor is similar to the aroma: sweet malt, honey, sour ripe fruit and hints of spice. Notes of yeast and sweet mustiness are present as well. This appears to be an older bottle judging by dated label and cork condition.
