COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle. Filtered, then bottled with sugar and yeast.
Ingredients: Water, Barley malt, Hops, Yeast.
This scintillating golden ale boasts a rich, fruity, and fresh aroma. And a light malty and sweet taste. It has a soft bitterness with a friendly aftertaste. A well-balanced blend of complexity and simplicity. La Trappe Blond continues to ferment in the bottle.

Small bottle. Cloudy dark yellow body with a medium head. Yeasty and bready aroma. Quite wheaty taste but it’s not sourish like a witbier would be. Finish has some hop bitterness. It’s a decent Belgian Blond ale but it lacks something that would make it stand out among the masses. Even Leffe is more recognisable.

The hazy golder yellow with a nice and compact white head invites to smell the nice aroma of toffe, caramel and banana (the latter more and more prominent as time passes). Unfortunatly for my tastes, blond Belgian Ales always lack something about the taste but this one in particular reminded me of German weiss for the banana taste, again. A good beer overall.

33cl bottle at home from Mitra, Maarssen. Body is opalescent, fizzy, golden, head is small, white, fizzy, mostly diminishing, fair lacing. Nose is fruity, flavor is fruity, banana, belgian yeast, light hoppy. Medium sweet, light to medium bitter. Finish is medium lasting average bittersweet. Medium body, dry texture, fizzy carbonation. Easy, refreshing, good blond beer.

33 cl bottle@home in Trappist glass@approx 11 degrees C. Pours clear yellow with large white head with OK retention, ending in little white clots. Citrus, hay and bread aroma with a taste of malt, coriander (?), yeast and orange. Slightly overcarbonated and on the sweet side with at somewhat light texture for a blonde, though not directly watery. Gets better as the carbonation subsides and has none of the off tastes which sometimes disturbes the experience with blondes. Sweet, malty aftertaste. Clearly better than the popular macro blondes, but not interesting enough to warrant greatness.
