| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 30, 2003 Sweet, lightly floral aroma, some melon and honey. Medium golden yellow color, average head. Flavor is malty and sweet, some light fruitiness and faintly spicy hop. Finishes lightly tart, mostly sweet, aftertaste sees some faint candle wax(?!). This is a decent, if uninspiring brew. altonbrownd (1968), Amsterdam, Netherlands
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 12, 2006 Bottle at home. Refreshing ale with a kick to it. Fast-head, orange, smells and tastes citrusy. Sugar picks up at the end. ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 30, 2005 This beer started and ended poorly. It was a struggle to get the cork out. Anyway... Hazy orange body with no head. Aroma is fruity with other fun Belgian stuff. Almost a stale basement feel to the flavor which hurt the fruity taste. If it’s not that it’s the yeast strain... and I don’t like it. Really an odd fruity taste, not good in a beer IMO. Almost no hop presence here other than a bitter finish. Maybe the bottle went bad, but either way I didn’t like this. I wanted to like this but it just didn’t happen. I didn’t want to post this before I finished the 750ml bottle, and believe me... it took a while. I even feel like 2.8 is a gift :( Shag (1923), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 24, 2004 Cloudy yellow/orange appearance with a good head. Aroma is citrus fruit. Flavor is fairly sour and musky with a sour fruit flavor. Overall this was a decent belgian blonde. Kevin (1920), Colorado, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 25, 2006 Damn I wish it were easier to spell the name of this one should have stuck with la trappe. Clear copper body and a nice silk white head. Honey and hay aroma with an earthy yeast scent to it. I bought the special 4 pack with this the dubbel tripel and quad. So now I have a cool little bowl of a koningshoeven glass. And it does look nice in the glass. A nice flavor to this, white grapes, a touch of banana and a bit of clove in the background. Sticky mouth feel a nice refreshing tart finish that works well.

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Feb 6, 2006 This blonde’s roots are showing, with auburn notes to a golden body. A white head fades to a thin film and slight halo. Fantastic aroma finds big, chewy toffee with juicy bubblegum, thin whisky and spice. Sour lambic funkiness adds intriguing character. Flavor finds juicy fruitiness carried in a buttery-smooth mouth, but it ends quickly with alcohol dryness. Another fine offering from De Koningshoeven as I am a big fan of their Quad.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 5, 2007 Bottle sampled. Pours orange/golden with a small wjite head. Aroma of fruit, belgian yeast and spices. The flavor is slightly sweet fruit, spices, and a mild bitter finish. Not a bad brew. TheGrandMaster (1882), Auckland, New Zealand
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 14, 2007 Bottle, was very lively, pouring a hazy gold with a filmy white head. A strong yeast aroma with lots of fruit and just a touch of spice. Quite a creamy palate, more spice in the flavour and some orange fruit.
