A little sweet, with some appley tones. Very little in the amount of flavour, either cold or after some warming. It wasn’t as thin as it could have been, and I wasn’t all that disappointed. Perhaps I wasn’t expecting a whole lot.

Présentation de bouteille toujours impeccable, puisque la série reliftée est magnifique.
Couleur blond doré brillant moyen.
Clarté nette. Bulles fines en fontaine au centre du calice, et vigoureuses.
Mousse blanche soyeuse qui nappe à 2 mm.
Arômes de céréales/houblon/fruits/bois.
Prise de bouche soyeuse mais assez épicée, suivie de l’amertume d’un houblon amer.
Malt un rien fumé.
2ème bouche avec la même impression, mais l’arrière-bouche est plus équilibrée.
3ème bouche plus pleine, où des fruits secs apparaissent. Arrière-bouche définie,
longue, avec une profondeur en gorge.
Longueur avec un bel enchaînement, surtout houblon/épices, puis dans les gorgées
suivantes plus de céréales.
Levure fine, précise, la vraie levure de blonde.
Alcool très bien pour une blonde.
Finale avec de bonnes impressions, sans pourtant toucher au ciel !!
Bière donc de très beau travail technique, à qui il manquerait juste une âme, ce qui
doit être un peu vexant pour un trappiste, mais ceux-ci sont hollandais ….

On tap at A La Morte Subite. Looks great - amber with a thick, long-lasting head. Weak aroma. Taste is complex and delicious with fruit cake, banana and Cola. Smooth finish. Great beer.

Keg @ Den Tatoverede Enke. The pour’s deep gold with a medium head. The nose is banana, strong sweet belgium yeast. A bit of bubblegum and candied orange peel. The taste is soft spring fruits, mashed banana and marshmallow. Light toast. Slightly syrupy. Light body, soft carbonation. Overall, quite solid.

Aroma mild zoet, warm fruit en abrikoos. Smaak is karamel en meer suiker, lichte zuurstok nasmaak. Van de tap @ Jagersrust Velden. Tweede poging proberen, te koud getapt.

This is exactly what I expect in a blond made my Dutch monks. This lovely sweet, effervescent drop is an ideal refresher on a hot day or just after a long run. It’s a delicious and light flavoured beer with a quick soothing 6.5% warmer to go with it.

Bottle@home. Golden practically clear. Small head retention. Pearch apricot notes. Yellow fruity taste. Some disturbing sweetness. Love these blondes more and more.

Golden, big rocky head. Aroma: yeast, peaches, hay, honey. Taste: light fruit notes, yeast, spicy hops, coriander. Spritzy, lingering finish. Surprisingly refreshing.
