Damn I wish it were easier to spell the name of this one should have stuck with la trappe. Clear copper body and a nice silk white head. Honey and hay aroma with an earthy yeast scent to it. I bought the special 4 pack with this the dubbel tripel and quad. So now I have a cool little bowl of a koningshoeven glass. And it does look nice in the glass. A nice flavor to this, white grapes, a touch of banana and a bit of clove in the background. Sticky mouth feel a nice refreshing tart finish that works well.

Finally got to taste this one. Fluffy, rapidly disappearing head. Orange/gold color - looks exactly like honey. Fruity/malty aroma. Tastes great, again, like honey, very malty. Not much hops, but I certainly wasn’t missing them much. Couldn’t detect spices really, but I do have a bit of a cold. Quite good.

Very attractive 0.33 l bottle. Pours yellow body with medium head. Beautiful aroma of banana and some other sweet fruits. Some floral hops also present. Flavor bitter, a bit fruity and just a hint of sweetness felt in there. Ale yeast obvious. Quite full bodied beer. Finish is long and pretty complex. Very good, although I’ve expected even more.

0,5 l ceramic bottle.Clear golden-honey colored beer with a small off-white head. Fine fruity aroma with coriander, some hop and malt. Medium bodied beer with smooth mouthfeel. The coriander is the leader with fine top-fermentation tastes, nice fruity flavor, rich malt. Delicious hop in the finish, dry herbal aftertaste. Nice ale.
