Bottle-Memphis. Shallow, temperary head, surprised at the lack of carbonation in the style. The body was full with a lasting sweetness. An enjoyable brew but not indicative of the style.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 wunderbier (1434) - Tampere, FINLAND - NOV 17, 2003
33 cL bottle, snifter, 55 degrees F. Tall, frothy, rocky, white head is slowly diminishing and sits on a yellow-amber body that is slightly hazy and has lively carbonation. Grain and straw malt (M); flowery, grassy hops (L); bubble gum, grape aromas. Weak and artificial aroma. Moderately sweet throughout with a lightly bitter, lightly acidic, unclean finish. Slight vegetal presence as this one warms. Medium-light body, watery texture, lively carbonation. The bottom line is: not good.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 harrisoni (10070) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 7, 2005
UPDATED: JAN 9, 2006 50cl stone crock from Morrisons. Looking forward to this, but disappointed. Hazy orange, no head, bubble gum, banana and some spice. These flavours dominate throughout with soft banana in mouth, and then the finish is quite disappointing, more banana and bubblegum. Bit flat and one dimensional.
2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20 Bierkrug (1666) - Idar-Oberstein (In East Africa), Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - SEP 30, 2011
330 ml bottle bought in Brussels but had at home in Germany. Pours a dark gold color with a thin white head. Caramel, banana and white pepper in the Aroma. Yeasty taste. Sour. Hints of white pepper, lemon peel, caramel and banana. Spicy. Lemon in the Palate. Definately poor, unpleasant finish. Dissapointing.
