This scintillating golden ale boasts a rich, fruity, and fresh aroma. And a light malty and sweet taste. It has a soft bitterness with a friendly aftertaste. A well-balanced blend of complexity and simplicity. La Trappe Blond continues to ferment in the bottle.

Thought I was actually buying a Belgian Trappist, not true, taste is very indicative of the the strong ABV with an alcohol aftertaste, average taste but overall was disappointed especially considering the price tag $45/case

0,33 l bottle. Murky pale orange in the glass. Small white head. Fruity, hiney and some chewing gum notes on the nose. Taste starts with hope, belgian style yeast, fruity sweetness, malt. Thinner to the end.

Bottle. Thanks vipinvelp! Hazy blond with white head. Cookiedough, a little clove, a little plastic and a little candy aroma. Tastes sweet, a little doughy with minor bitter undertones. Full body, very carbonated, bitter but also a little ripe fruit finish. Quite nice.

Fantastic beer for any occasion. No matter if you are grilling spareribs or with fish. Or just to drink on a night out. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Lyst og klart med et skum som forsvinner raskt. Mye gress og litt sitrus i duften. Samme følger i smaken sammen med litt fersken. Lang ettersmak. For mye kullsyre.

Golden color medium amber, slightly cloudy with sediment. A girl from Ipanema! Great blonde in my opinion! The aroma is delicious and refreshing of a floral intense and slightly metallic. The cream is quickly dissipated which I think fits the Trappist proposal. Fruity taste and sharp and at the same time balanced. Interesting. Remember the distance banana, this malt and floral light. Clove notes that gives a certain pimentazinha the end of the sip. Delicious, and the bitterness as well as other elements, very well balanced. The carbonation in the right measure. A beer to breathe in the glass takes shape. A blonde with great personality and great drinkability!

UPDATED: DEC 11, 2014 Draft at the Wildeman. I think i’m gonna be sitting here for awhile. This very well may be the gentlest beer I’ve ever had. Enjoyed with a half portion of local beef sausage. Between the nose of the beer lingering and the arrival of the sausage, my little table in front of the bar in the main room was a small slice of Utopia for a few minutes. Soft bitterness, I did not get. It was a mouthful of gentle malts from start to end.
