COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle. Filtered, then bottled with sugar and yeast.
Ingredients: Water, Barley malt, Hops, Yeast.
This scintillating golden ale boasts a rich, fruity, and fresh aroma. And a light malty and sweet taste. It has a soft bitterness with a friendly aftertaste. A well-balanced blend of complexity and simplicity. La Trappe Blond continues to ferment in the bottle.

Thought I was actually buying a Belgian Trappist, not true, taste is very indicative of the the strong ABV with an alcohol aftertaste, average taste but overall was disappointed especially considering the price tag $45/case

0.33 bottle at Palma, Sutivan, Bra?, Croatia. Hazy pale golden with quickly diminishing white head. Spicy, dusty even, fruity, orange peel. Sweet and malty, some bitterness in the finish, but also a bland and cheap taste in the background. A bit to thin body. Not to bad, but not to special, either.

Pours a hazy golden color, topped with a decently sized white head. Yeasty aroma with fruity notes and some spices. Taste is sweet and yeasty, some bitterness and herbs in the finish. Not my favourite style, but not a bad one considering this.

UPDATED: JUL 26, 2015 Uitgeschonken in originele La Trappe bokaal.

Erg goed trappisten bier.

Bottle from Seoul Plaza. Aroma spicy, Belgian, kind of saisony perfumey barnyard. Slightly hazy orange colour. Taste is rich, fruity, apricots, peach, combined with Belgian spicy yeastiness. Rather sweet, initially, slowly shifts towards a rather dry spicy finish. It took me a while to find the specific sweetish honeyish flowery element I so like in a lot of blonds, but I found it after all. Higher carbonation, easy drinking. This is a very good and enjoyable beer.

Yeasty aroma with notes of lemon zest and honey. Slight bitter front with slight toffee and hoppy notes. Opaque amber colour. Light body with mild carbonation. Pleasant, but not too interesting.
