2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Thought I was actually buying a Belgian Trappist, not true, taste is very indicative of the the strong ABV with an alcohol aftertaste, average taste but overall was disappointed especially considering the price tag $45/case

Smakrik och klasstypisk. Bra fyllighet och en härlig gyllene och grumlig färg. Jag gillar!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Colore biondo dorato, schiuma fine ed abbondante.
Odore fruttato, zucchero caramellato, albicocca, pesca.
Sapore dolce, fruttato, ma secco e ben stemperato dall’amaro finale. La gradazione si fa sentire grazie alle note vinose, da spumante, secche.

Nose is fruity, flavor is fruity, banana, belgian yeast, light hoppy. Medium sweet, light to medium bitter. Finish is medium lasting average bittersweet. Medium body, dry texture, fizzy carbonation. Easy, refreshing, good blond beer.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
33 cl bottle@home in Trappist glass@approx 11 degrees C. Pours clear yellow with large white head with OK retention, ending in little white clots. Citrus, hay and bread aroma with a taste of malt, coriander (?), yeast and orange. Slightly overcarbonated and on the sweet side with at somewhat light texture for a blonde, though not directly watery. Gets better as the carbonation subsides and has none of the off tastes which sometimes disturbes the experience with blondes. Sweet, malty aftertaste. Clearly better than the popular macro blondes, but not interesting enough to warrant greatness.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Clear yellow with a medium sized frothy white head. Sweet oranges, cloves and honey in the nose. Flavour has sugared orange, honey, peach, cloves, strawberries, sweet pear, light hay. Light bodied, thin texture, fizzy carbonation, watery and fizzy finish with lingering fruity notes. Has some sweetness that is uplifted by the carbonation and light bitterness. Drinks ok with no alcohol showing, and overall it is fine for an inexpensive supermarket beer. I would like it better if it wasn’t so fizzy and watery.
