Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Dark mahogany colour, creamy head. Aroma of burnt malt and plums, Very dry, medium bodied clean mouthfeel. Heavily carbonated, roasty and burnt, feels rather hard. Besides burnt malt there are notes of viola and licorice. Salty bitterish finish. Flavourful, but somewhat unrefined.

Bottle at Falling Rock. 2004 Vintage. Clouded brown. Nose is very malty and sweet with choco-notes and caramel. taste is also sweet with lots of chewy malts, caramel, and some cake-like flavors. Body is medium but it’s starting to lose it’s carbonation feel. Finishes with more chewy malts and caramel. Some hints of dark soda pop as well.

Bottle at home. Strong head. Nice bock with good carbs and plenty of sweet and hoppy flavour. Finishes very smoothly with spice kick.
