33cl bottle from palladio, new market, rhodes city, greece. hazy brown, large soft smooth light brown head. i spent a minute contemplating if this was a 5 or 4. nice. aroma of cola nut, caramel, raisins. flavor of rasted raisins (that’s a first), brown sugar, dark fruits, spices, roasted grains. ends dark fruty and roasted. this dutch bock is a mix of belgian fruity bruin with the usual dutch twist, and a german dark hard roasted bock, quite an interesting mix, that, unofrtunately is more interesting than aprreciable, but still - nice try. i love to taste something new.

From bottle, amazing red to copper liquid benith a huge beige head, intense aroma of fruits like cherry liquor, prunes, with maltish tones of resembles maple syrup, nice yeasty complexity with some cheese and brandy like alcohol, flavor is less impressive than the aroma, cinnamon cookies, malt, some roastiness and bitter hoppy finish, palate is just medium. With a more powerful body it could be and outstanding beer.

Deep red colour with a huge head. The aroma is of caramel and prunes. Flavor is similar - it remind me more of a dubbel.

Reddish brown with very thick foamy head, not real clear. Belgian candy sugar, malty, prunes, toffee nose. Palate is sweet but a bit sharp and acidic. Nice feel to it. Nice tang, partially the small bubbled carbonation. I really like this.

From bottle at The Beer Brothers Zomerbierfestival, Mechelen. Deep burgundy with a tan creamy head. Fruity with hints of nuts. On the sweet side, but good, nutty flavours. Likeable.

This dark brown beer poured with a decent beige head and a malty aroma. There is a pleasant roasted malt flavor with some carbonation and residual bitterness.
