Bottle. Clear orange coloured with a medium sized off white head. Sweet aroma of malts, hay, caramel and dried fruits. Flavour of malts, caramel, dried fruits and hops. Hoppy finish. Light alcoholic.

Bottle (Koningshoeven Bock): Misty ruby, nice head and lacing. Nose of caramel, fruit (fig) and lots of bread. Burnt marshmallow afterthought. The flavor is malty with burnt sugar. Nice malty complexities throughout the flavor that just vanish in the finish. Nice drinker though.

Poured with a nice head and some lace. Very ahcoholic aroma. decent dark wood color. Not as sweet as I would expect in a bock. Give ’em credit for distinction though. Full mouth filling body. Slightly unpleasant bitter finish. Not one of my favorites.

Bottle pours a medium brown, with a nice viscous flow. Modest but lasting light tan head. Malty and rich slightly chocolate aroma. Some slightly ascidic notes and an overall woody lightly sweety dark malt flavor. Thanks Buck Dutch for sharing this one.

Bottle (30cl): Hazy, ruby-amber coloured, creamy, persistent off-white head, sticking to the glass, fruity, caramelly and toasted-malty nose with a touch of coriander and hops; moderate sweet-bitter flavour with a very little acidity, medium-bodied; sweet-fruity and roast-malty finish with a little bitterness in the aftertaste. O.K., a quite well balanced brouwsel............

Bottle: Pours dark brown with a creamy, sand colored head. Aroma is malty, caramel, and dark fruits. Tastes malty, a little bready, caramel, toffee, and somewhat earthy. Thanks BuckDuch for sharing.

750, corked and baled. Thanks, Terry! Dark brown with bright rubied highlights and slim gray rim of foam. Thick fruity pulpy sweet pitted tree fruit nose. Medium body, fizzy carb. Light and rather generically fruity mid-palate. Light finish. Surprisingly little going on here.

When rating this I’m assuming that it is the same as Koningshoeven Bock. Courtesy of Skyview. Deep golden amber in pour with a thick foamy dirty white head. Some spices on the nose. Maybe some cinnamon and cloves. A bit of malt and a slight hint of alcohol to the taste. Otherwise it tastes much like it smells with a bit of hops and bitterness.

Bottle: Light cola in color, caramel hues, large foamy light beige head, nice lacing.   Soft bready nose, very slight dark pitted fruit.   For a Bock it certainly smells as if its on the lighter side.   Pale breadiness on the tongue.   No soy or heavy dark pitted fruit.   Very light for the style.   It is somewhat of a welcomed change as I wouldn’t think I could drink a 75cl of a heavy Bock.   Very minor fig and dates on the backside.   Certainly malty, a little mealy.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Has a weird aftertaste, somewhat similar to the aroma of new Tupperware.   Very faint, but its there.   Overall its decent, certainly a bit lighter than most, but still is somewhat flavorful.   Its also a bit airy... *BURP*.
