Dark and malty, great bitters, modest head and carbonation. Not the sweetness that seems more and more trend in bocks. Nice beer in a nice atmosphere. Aroma of caramel malt, raisins and figs. Flavor is loads of caramel malt, estery dark fruits, brown sugar, and a hint of Belgian yeast. The aroma is of caramel malt with a touch of dark fruit. It tastes sweet and malty with a little of that fruit coming through. It’s medium bodied and has a slightly bitter, clean finish. Taste of apples, slight tart of raspberry, spicy herbal seeds, cumin, bitterness, burnt caramel, and even a little bit of tobacco. Finish held out on a bitter note with an added spikiness.
