Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Sep 14, 2008 Drinking my first (and I suspect, last) trappist bock beer from a 750ml bottle of Koningshoeven Bock - It poured a deep, clear reddish brown body with a tall rocky beige head. Much heavy lacing. The aroma had cigar smoke, toast, caramel, dark stone fruit, and chocolate chip cookie dough. The flavor delivered much the same adding only a very light herbal bitterness. Good stuff.
